First of all, it has the right size and dimensions. To my problem...I tried uploading the image, which is saved as .png, but got the message: Quote: Image file type mismatch: expected extension bmp but extension png given. So I changed the extension from .png to .bmp, tried uploading, and got this message: Quote: This file cannot be displayed because the extension bmp is not allowed. I also tried .jpg and .gif What does "image type mismatch" mean and is there any solution to this problem? |

That is... odd. Can you drop the picture into a photobucket or something and post it here so I can check the image out? |

Yeah that is odd. When I uploaded the image on imageshack, it didn't show a preview like it does for every other image I upload on it. Oh and I will, thanks. |

Wait, were you trying to upload your avatar from your computer, or from an internet location? Uploading from an internet location doesn't work, so if that's what you were doing, that would be the problem. |

I was uploading from my machine (I read that big thread in this forum before  ) as I did with my previous avatars. I have no idea why it didn't work this time.
(oh and I did try uploading from an internet location afterwards, just incase something might have changed since the switch to phpbb3) I can still upload other images for my avatar, however. |
