Better then Colloseum but still lacking what the gamers want.

10. Mario 64 DS (DS)
This game can bring back memorys but only with a little more urge to it.

This is of course of the games I've played and just about everything I state in this post is my own opinion

10. Pokemon Leaf Green - Retro gaming with a twist.
9. Madden 2006 - Nice graphics, but as Crosman said, lack of gameplay sorta.
8. Pokemon XD - Barely beats Madden '06, but hey, it's Pokemon, ZOMG!
7. Pokemon Emerald - Barely beats XD, only cuz of the Battle Frotier.
6. Super Mario Strikers - Not as addicting as popular opinion states, but close.
5. Mario Party 5 - Still wishing for a M.P. with the best of each one.
4. Yoshi Topsy Turvy - A game that is controlled by tilting the Game Boy, aw3$0m3.
3. Mario Party 7 - See Mario Party 5.
2. SSBM - No explanation is needed here.
1. Mario Superstar Baseball - One word: Incredible

Worst Games: Too many to list.

Top 5 Characters:

5. Toadsworth (Superstar Baseball) - He's just amazing in the game.
4. Yoshi (Topsy Turvy) - Would be higher if there was more eggthrowing.
3. Sneasel (Leaf Green) - My favorite Pokemon, so automatic #3.
2. Brett Farve (Madden '06) - Whatever you do...DON'T RETIRE YET!
1. Shy Guy (Superstar Baseball) - Before you start a riot, let me just tell you that he is the best pinch hitter and 1st baseman in the game, and probably would pwn anyone in the MLB.

Easiest Boss

Brock (Leaf Green): Do I really need to explain?

Hardest Boss

Master & Crazy Hands [lvl Very Hard] (SSBM) Easily hardest boss, just overall a big challenge.

Yes...don't forget, this is the 'Best of 2005'.

Don't forget; everything you see in this post is my personal opinion, so don't start arguing with me because of something you see here.

Top Ten Games

1. Resident Evil 4-GCN
This is by far the best GCN game to date. If you don't have this game, you must get it.

2. Animal Crossing: Wild World-DS
This game takes the fantastic stuff from the GCN version and multiplies it x5.

3. Mario Kart DS
Truly the best in the series. New tracks, old tracks, new characters, new items, and Wi-Fi makes this a must have for DS owners.

4. Mario Superstar Baseball-GCN
Mind-numbingly addicting super-fun game. Mario and crew really know how play the ol' American pastime.

5. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time-DS
A super fun and super hilarious RPG. Luigi really makes you wanna burst out laughing everytime he messes up in the cinematic sequences.

6. Advance Wars: Dual Strike-DS
An amazing strategy game that will take up hours of your free time. This game makes war fun.

7. Super Mario Strikers-GCN
The only soccer game out there that is actually fun. It's always classic to throw a Bob-omb at someone who's trying to shoot a goal.

8. Pokemon Emerald-GBA
Not super-glorious, but the Battle Frontier is really awesome for us true Trainers.

9. Kirby: Canvas Curse-DS
One of the first few DS games that incorporated the use of the stylus largely. The main story falls short, but there is a ton of of replay value.

10. Super Mario 64 DS
One of my favorite Mario games on the DS=Saweet!

Honorable mention: Pokemon XD
I really wish they'd put more into the GCN Pokemon games. With more effort, Colisseum and XD could've been truly awesome.

Top Five Worst Games

1. Rayman DS
Rayman is a great character. The N64 Rayman games were totally awesome. Unfotunately, they really messed up in bringing Rayman 2 (64) to the DS. The graphics are below-average, and the controls are somewhat un-responsive. And to top it all off-the touch screen for this game is wasted! All they put there was the health bar and some stats, a horrible touch-analog stick to try to control Rayman better, and a blue background. Not even a map! I'm so sorry, Rayman, that they didn't put more time and effort into making your DS debut a sucess.

2. King Kong-GCN
I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up for a movie-game. But, alas, I thought this would be the one game to prove that good movie games do exist. I rest my case.

3. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance-GCN
Beautiful cinematics. Classic Fire Emblem genre. That's the only good parts. The graphics during the gameplay are downright disappointing. And the amazing cinematics? There's hardly any in the game, which is a big letdown. And to top it all off; no multiplayer! Here you spend hours customizing your characters, leveling them up, caring for them, and yet you don't get to fight other people's custom characters! Even a co-op mode could've saved this game. But no...

4. X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse-GCN
I was downright disappointed. Scarce save points gave flaming_fox and I a hard time.

5. Nintendogs-DS
This is a great game, but it gets too monotonus too fast. After three days, I really got tired of it. Also, I found it difficult to remember exactly how I toned my voice for the first times I taught them tricks, making for frustration.

Top Five Characters

1. Mario & Luigi---Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Mario and Luigi have remained heroes and idols in my heart since I was a toddler. To this day, they are my favorite characters of all time.

2. Grit---Advance Wars: Dual Strike
His CO Powers are da bomb, and his western-genious personality is awesome.

3. Yoshi---Mario Kart DS
Yoshi's regular kart is my favorite. It has excellent traction, and it performs well off-road. Well done, Yo'shter.

4. Tom Nook---Animal Crossing: Wild World
Nook is a raccoon, a store owner, and a house builder. What is better than that?

5. Shy Guy---Mario Superstar Baseball
My favorite and best character in MSB. Just listening to his Shy-Guy mutterings is enough to make me happy. Not to mention I talk like that when I beat my friends at MSB.

Easiest Boss
Drawcia---Kirby: Canvas Curse
I expected her to be super-powerful and hard. Needless to say, she was a creampuff.

Hardest Boss

Krauser---Resident Evil 4
Arrrghh! I must've died like 79 times trying to beat him!

Well, in a nutshell, that's my opinions on the video games of '05. Later.
