I didn't know there was a "new" one, but I saw the Broadway Show when I was in New York City earlier this year.

Im going to see it on broadway next week, and i think i burned a hole on the dvd from watching it to many times.

I am obssessed with this msuical.

I prefer some of the elements of the original london cast recording as to the new one though.

there are parts that are supposed to be sung but emmy rossum just says them and i think the director lost a lot of good dramatic tension by losing the singing.

Also masquerade is a lot better on the london cast recording.

But the movie is a greatcreation, just a different animal to the stage production is all.

If you mean the film I can't say anything else that I'm totally addicted to it. Singing them always. ( the phantom is really hot too) :lol:

Alice Cooper used it as his intro music on his last tour, it was one of the most effective and exciting uses of music I've ever heard. It worked so very well.
