um... wrote: Eswin wrote: The only GOOD combo with Gearfried is Elma+ Gearfried+ Royal MAgic Library to draw your entire deck as it creates an infinite loop, great for exodia decks. yah I know my combo isn't very good but i just like it cause it's cool and fun to win with 5 monsters on the field anyways there's enogher good combo wit h gerfried and elma using magical marrionet for iffinite attack and moster removal not as good as royal magical libray but still good
Elma+ Gearfried+ Marrionette is quite good too.
I had a idea, and I thought it was SOO good, I made it.
Ectoplasmer burn.
I know, Bakura uses a similar idea in the Nightmare Troubadour game but he didn't use a few cards I did.
Malice Doll of Demise. It has a recursion effect that sp. summons it during your standby phase if it was sent from the field to the graveyard by a continuous spell card. Ectoplasmer is a continuous spell card that forces both players to tribute a monster and when a monster is tributed, effect damage equal to half the tributed monsters original attack is done to the opponent's LP.
Synergy ++
Decklist:
Monsters:14
Tribute Monsters
2x Horus LV6 (unaffected by spells)
Non-Trib monsters
3x Malice Doll of Demise
1x Magician of Faith
1x Breaker the Magical Warrior
1x Morphing Jar
1x Sangan
2x Jowls of Dark Demise
3x Berserk Gorilla
3x Des Wombat
Spells:20
Spells
3x Ectoplasmer
2x Vengeful Bog Spirit
3x Card of Safe Return (this is great with Malice Doll of Demise)
3x Magic Reflector
1x MST
1x Trunade
1x NoC
3x Smashing Ground
2x Brain Control
1x Premature Burial
Traps: 6
Traps:
1x Royal Decree
3x Sakuretsu Armour
1x Last Turn
1x Call of the Haunted
Please rate and fix.
Edit: Fixed, removed Bottomless for a single copy of Last Turn and the MoP's for Brain Controls and I'm adding in a few Des Wombats as well(to stop ectoplasmer completely eating me away), bringing the deck total to 43 (which can't kill you, but 40 is better).

I'd add a few Mass Drivers, JIC you can't draw Ectoplasmer, other than that it seems good.

In case I don't draw ectoplasmer, I was actually thinking of a few Cannon Soldiers or a Catapult Turtle (yes, of scientist FTK fame) for burn and a few Ookazis and Meteor of Destructions (this is a bit of my side deck).
I think Morphing Jar is a DB2 Rare Orre_Master. I only have a single copy myself

Eswin:
Good deck idea, allow me to make a couple of suggestions, but don't take them too seriously, as I myself would have never even remembered of pulling out such an interesting strategy in the first place.
I say you drop the Messengers of Peace. The way I see it, and I understand where you're trying to get with those cards, MoP are a lesser version of Gravity Bind. No 4 star monster worth seeing play bears an attack inferior to 1500, so in that aspect, the cards' restriction effect is similar. However, the LP cost of the former is never a good thing. Sure, 100 LP per turn isn't much, but in a deck that isn't built to pull out quick victories (which is your case), it may hurt long-term. Add that to a possible couple of Meteors thrown at you and it's a bit risky. If you insist on keeping the Messengers, however, might I suggest you add at least one Life Absorbing Machine.
Also, you could switch one Vengeful Bog Spirit for a serviceable Magic Cylinder (if it's still not forbidden), and one card of safe return (3's a crowd if the strategy isn't going well, I'm sure it has happened to you) for one brain control (ectoplasmer-fodder).
But as you see, I'm just suggesting some minor tunings, I think your whole idea for the deck is pretty awesome. Oh, and thanks for the scientist combos, they look good as well, I just have to get my hands on a catapult turtle now. (what, portugal is a remote little country, it ain't easy to get good cards... )

"When this card is sent from the field to the graveyard." That's it. It matters not whether it was destroyed, tributed, or whatever. As long as it is sent from the field, where it is before ectoplasmer resolves, to the graveyard, where it is after ectoplasmer resolves. Simple as that. But thanks for the warning, anyway.

Ok, granted. But gravity bind still applies to it, I believe, and keeping cards in a deck with the sole purpose of countering a couple of cards isn't the way to go, me thiks... I suggest, since you're right about don zaloog, which I forgot about (sorry), that you put the messengers in the side deck and see how it works out. But it's ultimately your call, as you know

lol Cylinder but MoP may go for a brain control or 3 and because my opponent will be burning me away too, I've been thinking of using my only copy of Last Turn in the Deck too in case the whole idea screws up.

Since I make this suggestion to every deck I see:
Put Creator in, he can bring back the other monsters you tribute.

The creator would be pretty pointless in this deck because you'll never have enoguh mosters to tribute always saccing them

PokemasterUSA, 74 cards in a deck is NOT a good thing.
And with cards such as United We Stand, Malevolent Nuzzler and alikes, you could aim for a maha vailo or ben kei deck. Honestly, the latter wins you duels.
If anyone here could point me out cards with erratas other than Ocean Dragon Lord, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Sorry I'll rate your deck when I have the time, as for now I really must ask this.
My copy of Axe of Despair from Dark Begginings 1, unlimited edition, is named Sasuke Samurai instead. Is this a mistake, or didi it happen to anyone else?
The card is official, I have checked, and if it is a mistake, does it become illegal to use, more valuable, just trash, or what?
Thanks for your time.

If it's a mis-print it might be worth something.
I have my own mis print of "Insect Soldiers of the Sky"
It look like it has a hand of Exodia in the background.
BTW:Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
