It's only a bit bigger than an ipod, and it's really not that much more special than a regular GBA. And I've only seen a picture or 2 of it. Doesn't look very impressive.

I got one and its very sexy. that picture akes it seem huge but its not. It is exactly like the GBA but smaller. I'm guessig itll be the same price as the current SP and SP will drop to the GBA price and the GBA will go even lower.

Really? Quite an achievement, since it's not expected to release until November, and that's quite tentative still. How, praytell, did you get your hands on a device that's not finished yet? ;P

He says one of his relatives works at NOA and he lent him a test model of the GBM to try out for a couple weeks.

I'd like to see it's compatibility with the different types of games. (GB; GBC; GBA; ?DS?) If it can hold GBA and DS then I'll definitely snatch one seeing as I didn't get the DS.

I don't think it will be compatible with DS games. It probably would take just GBA and GB games just like a regular GBA and SP. I really don't get the point to them creating this thing. It's puny... and I guess that's all. The GBA is small enough to fit in my pocket and the SP can fit better in my pocket (when closed, of course.) So there is really no need to get it if you already have a GBA or SP. The screen is actually smaller than that of a GBA... and I don't like small screens because I would actually like to see what I'm doing! XD I've also seen pictures of covers or something you can put on your GB micro to make it all purdy. There is really no point to the micro, but I guess nintendo is trying to start some sort of fad.

Whoa wait, I thought Star had left us. </confusion>
<color=on topic>I think Nintendo is trying to make their hings smaller. Think about it. We have a perfectly good Gameboy Advance, they come out with the SP. Now there's a Micro. Eh, whatever. I'm not getting it, it looks like a waste of money.

It looks different. I'm not going to waste my money on it, unless I hear high about it more often. I really see no point in it.

Yes, there's not much new here. It's the same thing as when the original GBA got upgraded to the GBA SP. It's just slimmer and smaller (I'll admit it does look sleek.). There's no new gameplay, no new graphics, it's just a small upgrade. This would be a good gift to someone who never even had a regular GBA or a GBA SP. But if you've already got a GBA and/or a GBA SP, it's not that worth it.
*Notice to those who are confused:
This doesn't play DS games; if you noticed, DS stands for DUAL SCREEN, which means it's for the Nintendo DS system. The GB Micro does not in any way allow you to play DS games. Also, the GB Micro is cheaper then the DS, so it wouldn't make much sense if it played DS games (which it doesn't).

I'm not getting one, I see no reason to buy it over my current GBA.
Nintendo Power had an actual size photo of the micro in the magazine. I held up my original GBA (not SP) and it only seemed a bit smaller. A waste, if you ask me.
