I was in love with the song "Kill Everybody" when I found it on a video on YouTube. After I found it, I wanted more. I discovered Skrillex, then more songs by 'em, and then I was enraptured by the world of Dubstep.

So, in this thread, tell everyone what you think of this worldwide sensation! How did you find it? What's your favorite Dubstep song? Artist? Did you show your friends? What did they think of it? What do YOU think of it? And, the ultimate question - can you dance to it? ;)

(You can hate on Dubstep in here, as everyone is entitled to have an opinion. But at least give a decent reason as to why.)

I like Bassnectar, some of Nero and I don't mind Skrillex, but I guess it's the music I'd enjoy more if I was tripping out or something. Saw Bassnectar and Nero earlier this year, but unconventional rhythms/time signatures (in most cases) make dubstep as a whole too hard to dance to.

For me, dubstep is "meh".

Skrillex is cool, but I don't really like any of his original songs - just his remixes (namely his Bad Romance remix).
Bassnectar is pretty good, but that's only judging from hearing his remix of "Lights" by Ellie Goulding.

I've listened to other dubstep songs, in fact - quite a lot of them, but I never bother to get the name of the artist or the name of the song because truthfully, I'm not that interested. Some dubstep sounds repetitive and seems to follow a certain format. I'd like it more if it had more vocals and more surprises - instead of expecting the bass to drop or a "wub-wub" any second.

Dubstep rating: 6/10

It can be annoying but also can get you pumped in the morning.

Here is a Skrillex inspired remix of ADELE's "Set Fire to the Rain";

I have had this song in my head for quite a while now~ I would have downloaded it but I felt guilty not paying for it XD
