This game is awesome. Better than HGSS awesome. Like, the swan song for the DS, or something. Allow me to elaborate. Solatorobo is the sequel to Tail Concerto for the PS1, and it took the love and craftsmanship of many people over a whole decade to make. The game itself is a Quest-Based title starring Red Savarin, a Caninu with an attitude and a passion for his job as a hunter. Accompanied by his sister Chocolat, he travels the beautifully drawn Sheperd Republic on a search for money and adventure atop his robot, Dahak. The gameplay is top-knotch, and the character-driven story has plenty of twists and turns. The music and bonus content are great too. I second the recommendation. As a previous owner of Tail Concerto, I was looking forward to Solatorobo. One of the best buys for the DS, in my opinion. |
