Wouldn't a Luigi's Mansion 2 be great? Like a bigger mansion, and new ghosts. I've finished the first one way too many times, and ready for a new challenge!

not really.... that game was pretty lame, imo. and repetitive.... the only interesting part to me was the artwork of the different ghosts. now, super mario sunshine was a great game. if they made a second one of that (like hell they would tho) i'd be more ecstatic. haven't played galaxy yet, so maybe i'll try the new second one....

obvious joke just wasn't very funny, or true. besides, what could they offer in a second one that would be new?? i really can't think of anything... you couldn't put it in a new location, due to the whole "Luigi's Mansion" bit. so, what, the ghosts escape again?? that would be boring as hell. really, if you can think of something interesting to go in the game, then i'd say go for it, nintendo. but otherwise, leave good enough (not by far) alone.

I know most people think Luigi's Mansion is underrated, but I think the opposite. I find it quite overrated. I mean, the first few minutes of the game were alright, but it got a bit boring after a while of just doing the exact same things. And I'm still p***ed that Mario only appeared for what, maybe five seconds?

I guess I want a sequel for those who enjoyed the game, but I myself wouldn't care for it.

I found Luigi's Mansion to be an enjoyable, albeit very short and easy, Gamecube launch title.

I could see a sequel of Luigi having to journey to a different haunted location (perhaps a castle, or even multiple locations) and having to investigate a mystery or something. Wii motion plus controls could be implemented as well.

Why would you play a sequel before playing the initial entry? 95% of Galaxy 2's content assumes you are familiar with the first game's mechanics and features.

Seeing as Luigi is the protagonist of this game and Mario is the "plumber in distress", what made you think Mario would play a greater role? It was established halfway through the game that Mario was imprisoned by King Boo, so obviously he wouldn't be making an appearance until he was freed.

Yeah, but he doesn't get freed until the last ten seconds of the game! I was really looking forward to seeing Mario make the leap to the GameCube, and instead we only get Luigi, and when we finally do see Mario, his head's in a painting frame...
