And I'm back again with another great news edition for Psypoke!
This week, we're focusing on some detailed information concerning the
brand new Nintendo Revolution console, a very interesting picture on the
next generation X-Box 360 and some gaming data on what new games
are coming out soon for our current systems!

Nintendo Revolution Inside Specs:
First of all, E3 has announced that Revolution is the final name for this new
system and not just a work-in-progress code-name. Secondly, a final color
for this new console has not yet been decided, so it won't necessarily be
the shiny black that we've all seen.
Revolution games will be housed on 12 centimeter optical discs and the
machine will also play DVDs (for which you'll need to buy a special
attachment) and Gamecube titles. Memory comes in the form of 512 MB
of on-board flash memory, while there will be the option to buy additional
SD memory cards.
The controllers for this brand new system
will be wireless.
So far, Smash Bros. will be a launch title in the release of Revolution. It
as well as Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals and a few other games (yet to
be mentioned) are already being worked on to support online gaming.
Other offline games being worked on include - unsurprisingly enough -
next-generation versions of Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong and Metroid.
Revolution, said Nintendo Boss Satoru Iwata, will "appeal to every
member of the household, whether they consider themselves gamers or
not". To that end, Revolution will also be what Iwata called a "virtual
console" capable of downloading 20 years worth of Nintendo content,
which covers games that first appeared on NES, SNES and N64.
Essentially, Nintendo Revolution won't be anywhere near as powerful as
PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 but it will be a lot cheaper and - hopes
Nintendo - a lot more accessible. It'll go on sale some time next year in
2006.
