IT'S BASEBALL SEASON AGAIN (soon)!! :D

Spring training is in progress. The Indians perform best as the underdog, and after last season, no one expects much from them after barely finishing .500. This year we're relying on pitching, which we've never really had. Cliff Lee and Fausto Carmona have great pressure to perform, but knowing the club's pitching in the past fifteen years, I don't expect much. I'm worried definitely, but the Indians, or any Cleveland team for that matter, are long due for a championship. We desreve it. :(

I see Kansas City as a good group of individuals, but need better chemistry

Unfortunately for them their next series is with the Jays.

I'm posting mainly to say "oh shit S_S isn't dead."

However, I have a few on-topic thoughts. Cliff Lee's regression from his ridiculous season last year hits the Indians hard, although it was to be expected. Lee is not doing badly, but excluding his efforts, the starting pitchers' ERA is over 7. In DatVu's words, at least they have the Cavs.

In the AL East, I don't expect the Rays to repeat last season, but they are certainly a better than .500 team, and it seems that they will finish third or second in the division. New York and Boston will be in the mix as usual, and the Orioles will petition to be moved to the NL West. This is all assuming the Blue Jays come back to Earth, because, well, a lot of their roster is playing way above their true talent level (Marco Scutaro, at 33, has an OBP and SLG about .100 over his career average) and Cito Gaston most likely isn't a miracle worker.

The Royals are a pretty solid team, as long as they do certain things like saving a certain Farnsworth for low leverage situations.

Full disclosure: go Yankees

What the heck happened to my Royals? We're in first then we slide to last? Greinke giving up 5 runs? What? We need a slugger. Badly.

It's called reality, unfortunately.

The Rockies have won 8 in a row, the Braves got hold of McLouth, the Yankees are getting embarrassed by the Red Sox, and Ozzie has had his rant for the week. All is well.

That's gotta suck D:

Anyway, Rays are only 5 games behind the BoSox. It's still June, maybe they can get the wildcard spot.

Well, I'm not really sure about the Royals anymore. 10 games under .500, and giving up two grand slams in two games? I'll put my hope into *shudder* the Chiefs.

Well I am a Twins fan and we lost alot of power houses on the minnesota twins team and lost Torii Hunter and Johan Santana.=(

Yet you still beat the Royals 5-1 with Gil Meche pitching, who we paid 55 million dollars for 3 years. All our draft picks seem to flop too( Except number 23). Alex Gordon and Luke Hochevar did not live up to expectations. The Twins are really a decent team right now, even without Santana and Hunter.
