Lush? Eh, I've seen a bit of G&S, didn't really seem very impressive. Mathew Horne's been in funnier stuff. |

I think it's safe to assume that he's a UK resident, since he watches G&S. Urban Dictionary's definitions of "lush" make a lot of reference to alcohol. About the only one that works in this context is Quote: 2. lush
British slang term to describe something pleasing or desirable. "that girl is **** lush" "i had the most lush milkshake last night" |

"Lush" is a bit of an older Welsh term now, it died out along with "solid" and "pucka jarj!". We speak so strangely. But I would not describe Gavin and Stacey as "lush", I'd describe it as hilarious. I haven't seen much, but I need to see more! If not only for the accents (both English and Welsh). I love the uncle... can't think of his name, he's played by Rob Ryden. (I've seen him live in Rhydycar!) Absolutely hilarious. xox |

The Uncle's Name is Bryn. Whenever he meets someone new he has to point out the fact that it means hill in welsh. |

Hmmmmm.......not a bad amount of Welsh people on these forums ............. Stacey is ledgend, that actress is great. I'd say (no bias here) that the Welsh people are the funniest, probably because of that thick accent of theirs. ~ Chingling ~ |
