Post subject:  The Eleventh Doctor
Well it's been announced on Doctor Who Confidential that the Eleventh Doctor is Matt Smith. Yeah I'd never heard of him either. At 26 he's the youngest Doctor ever, well known by some for his roles in Party Animals and Ruby in the Smoke. So here it is Doctor Who fans, discuss what you think of the latest Doctor.

I personally think he'll be good for the role, because as Russell T. Davies and Steven Moffat both said, he's both old and young at the same time. There's just something about his eyes that make him look older than he actually is. Cautious optimism would be an accurate explanation of how I feel.

Ugh, seriously? I wanted David Tennant to stay :( He was amazing, yet he hasn't regenerated. I wonder how that'll happen. I thought the guy off the Two Doctors was gonna do it, but then it turned out he was a human, >phew<.
David Tennant deserves to stay, GO AWAY NASTY 11th DOCTOR!!!!!!!!! :mad:

I saw him in Shadow of the North, and I his character was my favourite in it at the time. I like him, and I reckon he'll make a great doctor. And Steven Moffat wouldn't have chosen him if it wasn't a good decision.
