Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

Okay, first, it's not actually a blog, it's a 40 minute musical written by Joss Whedon.
Second, if you haven't already, you should go watch it.

When you get done watching it, or if you've already done so, I want to know what you think.
Personally, I loved it. I've been a Firefly fan for years now, and I've recently gotten into the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe, for which Joss Whedon is also responsible, so I was very excited when I heard about this.
Joss just has an amazing talent for making stuff funny, and yet poignant. And Nathan Fillion is once again a brilliant actor, as are his costars, whom I'm not as familiar with.

Have you read the Buffy comics?

They're even better than the tv series. :]

The first song was totally the best. The plot and singing was pretty good too. The fact that the whole plot was in forty minutes is astounding too. Neil Patrick Harris did a very good job as the main character and he was really believable. I also liked the twist at the end.

I haven't read the comics yet, seeing as they're chronologically after the TV show (I've only watched up through Season 4 in Buffy and Season 1 in Angel so far), but I have a friend who has them, so I probably will read them at some point.

My favorite songs were probably the the first and last songs in Act 1, the first and last songs in Act 2, and the last two songs in Act 3.
But yeah, the plot was very well done for how short it was, and the ending was really kind of thought-provoking.

[nervously] "Wow, look at my wrist, I'd better be going!"
And I love the line "what a crazy-random-happen-chance!"
I adore this musical it's so funny and the songs are so catchy and the plot is so moving (especially the ending!).

Favourite song: On the Rise
Favourite character: Dr. Horrible (he has a PhD in horribleness) (I also like Moist, hilarious.)
Favourite moment: When we first meet Captain Hammer- where does he come from!?!? He appears out of nowhere and lands on top of a moving vehicle! Much lols! They way he's singing at that point too, all "I'm heroic" and such. Gives me giggles.
