LOTR is good. I got the trilogy on Tuesday from my step-bros. I also read The Hardy Boys books. They were pretty good... I don't have the whole series, but they are still fun to read.

I have several favorite book sagas, series, and individual novels.

For sagas, we have Dragonlance, Forgotten realms, and Star wars.

For series, we have the Lord of the Rings, Tom Clancy's major novels (like red storm rising) (this counts as a series for me becuase it is one big contunuity concerning two major character), and Warcraft.

For individual novels, we have Troy, Black House, Don Quixote, and various novels written by Charles Dickens.

i've never read harry potter, because i heard it wasn't written very well; the author got lucky.

anyways, my favorite book is probably the perks of being a wallflower. gerald's game by stephen king wasn't all that bad, either - kind of boring, kind of 'stephen king', but he saved the book with a great main character.

Jeez, they's so many books I've read and it's hard to pick a favorite. Just to name a few I've read.

1. The Harry Potter Series
2. A Series of Unfortunate Events
3. Artemis Fowl Series
4. Animorphs Series

O.o <bad>Are you sure that you aren't my long lost brother? </bad>

Though those aren't the exact order, except for number 1, I still love them all. Though the Animorphs series began to bore me a bit.

In addition, I liked:
Hidden Talents by David Lubar
Travel Team by Mike Lupica
Surviving the Applewhites by Stephanie S. Tolan

Those are just a few....

Yeah, "the theif lord" is a good book, but in my opinion "Eragon" is better.

I picked up In Cold Blood this summer, because I've heard it is a good book. Well besides being extremely creepy, it is also now one of my favorites. It is amazing how Truman Capote was able to get so much information from the killers about the murders. When you read the book it seems impossible that it is non-fiction, it is that detailed. A definite read.

Hm, through all the books I've read over the years, a few have stood out. Mostly singles, with a few series in between.

1.) Wild Trek (forgot who wrote it)
2.) The Land by Mildred D. Taylor (really good read, and I commend it)
3.) The Black Stallion (no clue who wrote it)
4.) Redwall Series by Brian Jacques
5.) Eldest by Christopher Paolini (sp?)
6.) The Mummy by Anne Rice

And that names a few. :D Obviously I can't remember every book I've read.
