Anyone play runescape??? Its a great mmo.

Runescape=t3h suck. Runescape is one of the worst MMO's ever, not because of the graphics, sound, or gameplay, but because of the people who play it. Most of them are young people who don't type correctly, think that they are better than everyone else and swear at you because you tell them to 'Go away, I'm trying to play here.'

I have played WoW, GW, FFXI and EQ2 and Runescape is definately the worst MMO on the market in my opinion. Yes there are idiots on every single MMO in the world, but Runescape just seems to be made up of them in my opinion.

I've never played it, but from the reviews so far I can tell it's supposedly pretty bad (My main thing on this is that you have to pay for it).

I like KoL better.

I play it, but I always turn my public chat off unless my friend is on/I have to sell something. Members arent as much of n00bs, but its still a n00bapalooza. I have to try another game...
Yes. you are correct. Half of them dont type right. Example:
"Selling what I have equipped"
comes out as
"S3lln hat i havv eqpdd"
Can you honestly decipher that?
And people swear all the time, and the censor makes it worse because they find more ways to get around it.

Tibia is a much better mmo experience, thenalot of the other mmo's in my opinion... it's free to play, and you can lvl up as much as you want on the free servers. sure, you get lots of noobs on free servers, but who cares? its free, you get what you pay for, right?

Flamebred expressed my opinions on runescape there pretty well. In WoW, that's where I tell the retards to go back to. That's where most of them come from imo.

Meh, RuneScape is alright. I don't play it very often, though.
But I hate the n00bs on the free servers, this is what happened to me once:

n00b: Wanna fite???

Me: Go away, i'm looking for addy arrows.

That has got to be one of the worst n00b encounters ever.

I dont have many major problems with Runescape. I just ignore the 'Zomg slling mith armur $01093029202' idiots. Im not a paying member, all i do is imrpove my smithing/pickaxing levels but getting ore, turning it into bars, and turning it into weapons, then selling them off.

I played runescape and it was OK. That is until a foudn other games. IMO Runescape is for people that don't play better games, and they only play it because its free and its well-known, and you don't have to download.

I played it back in 8th or 9th grade. Its a Freshmen game, and probaby even lower than that. It was pretty boring, and I sold my account to my little brother's friend for a dollar.

Yea. As I was playing today, I discovered that the free servers were worse than usual in my absence from them (Im a member, just so me and my friend can kill lotsa stuff). I was selling a rune pickaxe (25k) , and someone offered to buy it. Looking at thier combat (37) I wasnt very sure. My sense was right. They offered like 600gp. *sigh* Half the people-no, 3/4-of the people who are F2P (Free 2 Play) are n00bs who dont understand what "selling --- $$---" means. And then they beg. "plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz im poor plz plz plz".....etc.

I have to use Low Detail of Runescape as High Detail even on fast broadbands can get lagged as its so big with so many users. Meh.

Yeah. My friend constantly has to reboot his computer whenever we even think about going to somewhere like Varrok. Unless the price isnt listed, you shouldnt put up a price other than what the person wants. (That same friend told me blue dragonhide chaps were 40k, when in reality theyre like 6k....I feel like a moron now). I was thinking of browsing other MMORPGS, but sadly my dad wont let me download anything. (Me: Its just a font... Dad: NO! IT COULD HAVE A VIRUS BLAH BLAH BLAH)....And luck aint on my side. I can barely sell anything, or buy for that matter. I had to type in "buying rune hally 90k" for about 20 minutes....I think Im too nice. I donate ridiculous amounts of money to my friends.

Runescape? The only reason I played was because i liked ripping off little noobs walking around in rune armor then if they said no...take them to the wild and kill them. Played Tibia been there done that. Stupidest one I think is Maple Story. :roll:

I've never found a MMORPG that i would be willing to pay for... i played runescape for a while... you have to pay for it now? haha, im surprised they still have players.

Well I never really liked Runescape,it's kind of stupid, it has horrible graphics and it's a waste of time....but I will keep the rest of what I have to say to myself.

It's a pretty god game The problem is like pokemon a fair amount of people don't like it without knowing anything about it It's a pretty good game mabye I just say that because I haven't played any other mmorpgs and mabye terbile compared to other games but whatever

as for me I'm a member and I like it the only rwall problem is that earning money is really repetive other than that it's great

Meh, I also hate the n00bs who don't know what "Selling D Long 100k" means. I get LV72 players coming up to me:

Me: Selling full mystic 235k.
LV72: Offers 100k.
LV35: Offers Iron Platebody.

That's the only thing I don't really like about it. I hate the wildy too. (All the n00bs who say "Ur scared lolz!!111" and stuff hang about there.)
Meh, all I basically do is "Law run" and sell Law runes at 300 gp each. Currently fletching ATM.

i play runescape most of da time i have full rune and dragon and other rare stuff i am lvl 110 brill game

Lol, my combat is only Lvl 69. I usually wear full Rune with a D Long as my weapon. (Lol)
The only problem is that it gets pretty boring in a short time, and there're too many n00bs. (Not as many in the member's servers, but still a lot.)
