Sup? I am a music listener to-er (I am a person who listens to music), Rock only though, so, not much rap/country/hip hop/jazz/pop stuff in my house, just original Rock, my bands consist of Linkin Park, Lost Prophets, My Chemical Romance, Placebo, Three Days Grace, and many others. I listen to music 24/7, in fact, music is the only thing that helps me sleep, okay, anyways.... lets get this started, just post your favorite music type, then, either list some artists you like, or your favorite, here, I'll go first as an example...

EX; Rock/Hard Rock/Metal/Alternative (they're all pretty much the same to my ears)
- Linkin Park
- Three Days Grace
- Adema
- H.I.M (His.Infernal.Majesty)
- My Chemical Romance
- Lost Prophets
- Placebo

or...

Oh Yeah, and if you've seen them in concert/MTV/ETC then feel free to add that in to.

Me and all my brothers/sisters listen to music a lot so almost every second of every day I hear music. My mom absolutely hates all music pretty much.

Hm, you should probably delete your second post and edit it into the first.

There are too many types/genres of music these days, I'm just going to say:
Rock/'Lighter' or 'Indie rock'/'old rock' - Ill Nino; Linkin Park; some of Lost Prophets' stuff; Evanescence; Blink 182; Bon Jovi; some of Guns 'N' Roses and Aerosmith; Funeral for a Friend; Foo Fighters; Garbage; bit of Green Day's old music; H.I.M.; Marilyn Manson; some Nickelback; Seether; Snow Patrol; Keane; The Fray; Three Days Grace and Trapt.

Then there's the side of me that likes quite sad music, lol. I won't go into those, (but not dance; R 'N' B/Hip Hop or rap, eurgh).
