The SNES. It isn't really mine, it's my older brother's. It's been around since before I can recall anything.
Later came my brother's N64 a year or so after time of launch.
Next came my GBC.
Then the GBA.
The one non-Nintendo console I decided on that wasn't retro at time of purchase is a PS2, got it in 2002. My brother and I each have a 1/2 share of ownership.
Much, much later I got my PC. It's showing signs of age, but if it holds up for a couple more years I'll be fine.
Then came my original DS.
I bought a GBA SP and sold the old one because I liked backlights so much and wanted it for GBC games.
I got the Wii luckily very early on. 26 December 2006
The last console I "bought" was my DS lite. I didn't buy it, my dad got it free from work via a point system of some sort and gave it to me because the L button broke on the old one (thanks for breaking it, Metroid...)

Got an unwanted Genesis Nomad but it quickly fell apart. Bought a used Genesis to fill its void.
I got my own SNES at a thrift store so when my brother moves out I'll still be able to play my games
Got 2 broken Xboxes. First one had broken HDD, required
to put a new one in (If it weren't for one stupid "feature" I wouldn't have needed to do it. Luckily Microsoft learned from that and removed that from the 360, so don't need to use unless DVD drive breaks. Odd, original xbox didn't need that for the DVD drive...), other Xbox was harvested for parts but can be rebuilt if I must not use what I had to to change the HDD. Not a good option since I use the 'd one mainly as a media center

I remember playing Mega Man on the NES. A while after that, i got a N64 and Goldeneye(awesome.)Then, i got a GBA, and a DS. Lastly a GameCube,Wii,Xbox360.
