The Harry Potter series is awesome!! Not the movies though gah!
I've never heard of this Pendragon series or whatever its called. Maybe I should have a look see. The Tomorrow series was awesome. It was set in Australia and they get invaded and war breaks loose.

Does anybody know any good Fantasy/War books, I'm doing an assessment at school.

The Lord of the Rings. Or if you can't muster up enough energy to read all three, go for The Hobbit. :)

Yes I've already read those... they were good books but for my assessment I need to analyse the theme of 5 different texts (film or book) and I picked the lord of the rings movie for that... I don't think my teacher would allow for both the movie and the book! :D Besides LOTR takes waaaay too long to read.

thanks for the suggestion though

Nver read any series seriously, usually it's one book or none. But I took a look at the Warriors lot and decided that i'm spending next week's pocket money on one of them!

Unless you count Fighting Fantasy as a series. I've got the most of their Sorcery miniseries and quite a few others.

Tomorrow series is awesome! Anyone who hasn't read it should. But I have to say Hitchhiker's Guide is the best. If you haven't read this series then you're certainly deprived of some of the best laughs of your life. Same goes with Discworld. Anyway I've also read the usual: LOTR, Harry Potter (getting bored of it), His Dark Materials, Bartimaeus Trilogy (if you haven't read these go down to the bookstore and buy them right now!), and some others I've forgotten... never read Redwall though but I'd like to... I think my friend has practically the whole series!

No problem! I am just addicted to the series, I currently can't find my sixth one and I've torn my house apart. I'm even willing to pay another $20 for another one. :?

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, if these are what you consider as series. The Star Wars books are really numerous, so I've not really read them in order.

Add Animorphs to that list. I guess I kinda forgot about Animorphs, which I used to read. It's only the recent topic about Animorphs that I remembered it was a series too :?
