my friend gave me his DS but when diamond and pearl came out he took it back lol i didnt even play that much but i just reacently bought a red and black ds light and got diamond :mrgreen:

I have a regular DS. If I could trade it for a DS Lite I wouldn't anyways, I'm not blind so there's not much of a difference. Plus, I already named my DS, it would be like abandoning a child......j/k. A child more important than a DS? Wha?

DS lite
i did have reguler a while back but then sold it on ebay. then i got DS lite the day i got Pokemon diamond

Well if you use them properly and don't slam them against **** like most kids do they're perfectly good and don't break. Next time try thinking before spouting unfound hate and stupidity.

Yeah, my sister got a DS Lite a bit over a month ago and I'm still jealous. The color is so much more vivid, the backlight is more powerful, it's sleek, etc.

Huh. I've dropped mine in puddles, on cement ground, etc etc, and it works fine.

I have the white DS lite. If I knew black was coming out when I bought the white version, I would've got black.

nintendo ds lite. i think its better that the first one; it's smaller, lets you choose how strong the screen light will be and has got, shall i say, more style

Yeah, I've seen smashes of fat DSes many times due to extreme carelessness.

Gaming abusively with the L trigger sorta broke my fat one, but the DS Lite I have has been clumsily dropped onto hard floors several times and it still looks fairly new!

My first ever DS was a DS Lite. My friend has an original DS though so I know the differences. I like the DS Lite better.

I have a nice white DS lite, gotten in Christmas of '06.

It's L button is broken though, probably because I play MPH too much. :D

I got a ds lite on christmas 2007 but it partially broke. It still works but I don't use it anymore. My stepbro got a ds lite onyx-coloured one and got bored of it and gave it to me. I am hoping to get a DSi when it comes out next year :D

my first DS was the red one with mario cart, but after bout a year, one of the hinges half broke, and the other should follow soon, so just now at christmas I got the cobalt DS lite

Dude...I LOVE Metroid Prime Hunters. Shame no one I knew had the game/liked it very much. I kinda stopped playing because of this.

My sister has the original DS, and I used that for a while, until I got a DS Lite last year on Black Friday. It's a gold Zelda DS that has a Triforce in the bottom righthand corner of the closed topscreen. I <3 it.
