This is just to discuss songs that you think are overrated. It is not a place to argue. After all, everybody is entitled to their own opinions. It might just be me, but I find My Chemical Romance's BLack Parade to be teh most overrated song out right now. I know a lot of people really like it, and I have to admit that it is an OK song, just not as good as people make it out to be. Well, that is my contribution, what do you think? |

How To Save A Life by The Fray I just don't like them! Everyone (here in Denver, where the band is based out of) just loves them, and I don't. The song is okay, but everyone is all I LOVE THARNMSAMFGASMFG!!1!11!1 waaaaaay overrated. |

Lot of wannabes follow them in my opinion. But yes that's my opinion. The new British Band, 'The View' (any brits heard of em?), they're awful. A few boys playing acoustic guitars, singing out of pitch and one banging on a bad drum. My opinion though. Acoustic music just doesn't do it for me. It ruins most genres apart from acoustic. |

I suppose it is more overplayed than overrated. It is a brilliant song, but played to death. Guns N' Roses have so many other decent records, I just wish DJs would be more informed and realise that. |

Lips of an angel - don't remember the band name.. Also, ALL of the songs by Panic! at the disco. It's unoriginal, it's boring, the lyrics are VERY unoriginal. And EVERYONE is like "omyGAWD! i luv them!!11oneone" Also Justin Timberlake and Snoop dog. Their song is just the same. |

You're wrong there.Panic at the disco is not overrated.Some people may like it but there band only has one famous song but didn't get much credit for it.It is I write sins not tragedies.I think an ovverated song is pop like it drop it.Not that I hate rap but everone sings it in school. |

I agree that a lot of rock/pop/rap songs are overrated/overplayed now. MCR's songs used to ALWAYS be on the radio, along with PATD's and such. On stations NOW, it's Fergie, Nelly Furtado, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and...Avril Lavigne. For some reason I keep thinking Lavigne is like, 17, not an old hag (22-23 :O). Right, anyway, overrated/overplayed songs on the stations a majority of people where I live listen to are: Girlfriend - Avril Lavigne What Goes Around/Summer Love/Sexy Back/My Love - Justin Timberlake Fergalicious - Fergie Party Like A Rockstar - I dunno How to Save a Life/Over my Head/Look After You - The Fray Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin I Write Sins Not Tragedies - Panic! I have to agree, I remeber only hearing estranged, a really good song one or two times max on music channels, and sweet child like 100 times 
My songs/bands have to be arctic monkeys, and although great, the libertines are so overhyped. |

Feel good inc. by the gorillaz, though i like it it doesn't seem liek that song should have made so many people like them. Especially seeing as there were 3-4 CDs before that. 3 in america, 1 is a special thing you have to order. |

I agree, MIMS is soo horrible, artists barely have to do anything to get an album, at least Avril lavigne is credible, and she got an album back in the 'hard days' ugh. I hate rap, and MIMS, he's not an artist, he's a disgrace to music itself. And I have heard all those songs above, she just needs to add much much more omgzzz teh NIckelBaCk!!11!!111! Hinder and Nickelback are like Coldplay. Not rock at all. |
