This forum is specifically for anyone with questions about Godzilla. I am one of the world's leading experts on Godzilla and can answer almost any question there is about it. please post only serious questions. (serious meaning don't ask anything just to hear yourself talk [no insult meant])
Toho Co. is releasing another Godzilla movie in 2013. What do you think this movie should be about, and who, if anyone, should Godzilla face?
you can create your own oponents for godzilla as well as new powers for godzilla.

I reckon it should be about the whole Mecha Godzilla. Definately. I think it would be much better than the whole "man in a suit," battles a "man in a metaller suit" concept. ((I'm well aware that metaller isn't a word, but it sounds amusing.))

They should also incorporate the army into it more. Like, nuclear weapons and such like, and Godzilla still standing. 8-) Very cool...

However, I do have one question.

What's the whole story line regarding King Ghidora? (Lord knows how you spell his name. Does he? Oh, I'll go and ask him then...)

there are several. in the showa series, King ghidora(gidorah, ghidorah) is portrayed as a monster who destroyes planet after planet until finally reaching earth. the whole planet-destroyer is used throughout the first series. during the heisei series (1984-1995) King Ghidorah was created by humans from the future who wanted to eliminate godzilla and create a monster they could control. it almost worked, but they inadvertedly created a godzilla far larger than, and far more powerful than, the original. Ghidorah was being used to destry japan, save tokyo, so the futurians (as they are called) could rebuild japan. in the Millenium series (1999-2001) King ghidorah was one of the earth's guardian monsters, who were awakened to fight off godzilla, who was sent by all the asians who were killed by the japanese in world war 2, to punish japan for forgetting them.

your welcome, Obsidian wolf. and some fun facts about Godzilla: He has 29 movies, with another one due out early next year called Godzilla: 3D to the max, and one due out in 2013, made by toho. The american godzilla(aka zilla) gets his butt handed to him by Godzilla himself in Godzilla: Final Wars. the three inspirations for Godzilla were: The 1933 King Kong, Hiroshima's memorial to the victims of the first nuke attack, and the lucky dragon no.27 (i think) who passed through a radiation-contaminated sea zone and brought contaminated tuna to the tokyo markets.
fyi, i am not just showing off. this is for anyone who wants to know

It's highly interesting. I have a couple of the games, which are most entertaining and I watched the old film (You can practically see the strings that hold Mothra up. ) But they do make me laugh, and I absolutely love Mecha Godzilla. Loved the battle between them.

it was the first Godzilla movie ever made, and the version i am talking about does not have raymond Burr in it, it is original format, original film, and very sad. (sad as in very emotional, not very pathetic. it is in fact quite powerful.)

GODZILLA RULES... infact, i have a rubber model of him on one of my shelves. Old school godzilla would totally kick the new godzillas butt from here to mars if need be.

i have several versions of godzilla at home, as well as many other monsters. for those of you who agree with me, Godzilla's revenge is the worst godzilla movie ever made, and one ofhte worst in history, no disrespect to toho or to those who actually like it intended. also, Godzilla against Mechagodzilla (aka Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 3) is the second worse, due to a totally fake and staged fight intended to draw out a flaw in Mechagodzilla 3's design.

By the way, Godzilla has died 4 times throughout the entire series. the first time was at the end of Gojira, when Dr. Serizawa activated the Oxygen Destroyer, killing Godzilla and himself to keep a terrible weapon from the world. the second time was at the end of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2, when Mechagodzilla's G Crusher destroyed Godzilla's second brain, located in his spine and which controlled all of Godzilla's lower body functions. after this, mechagodzilla 2 killed godzilla, but Fire Radon, another monster in the movie, gave his life to revive Godzilla, giving him the power to destroy Mechagodzilla 2.
The third time was in Godzilla vs. Destroyah. the entire movie was centered around Godzilla's death, which was brough about by an overload of radioactivity. originally, they believed godzilla was going to explode, which would have ignited the atmosphere, turning the very air we breathe into a raging inferno. eventually they figured out that Godzilla was going to meltdown, thus borring a hole into the earth's crust and causing the earth to implode. they figured out a way to minimize the damage to Tokyo, but Godzilla died spectacularly.
the fourth time was at the end of Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack. Godzilla had been sent by all those whom the Japanese had killed in World War 2 as punishment for forgetting them. After the guardian monsters had failed in killing Godzilla, mankind managed to do so. but at the end of the movie, a shot of the sea bed under tokyo bay showed Godzilla's Heart, rejuvenating the body.

last month nintendo released information about Godzilla Unleashed for the nintendo Wii and the DS. so far the monsters revealed are: For the Wii, Final wars gigan, godzilla 2000, megalon, and Kiryu. for the DS: Battra, godzilla, biollante, final wars gigan. Also, for the Wii, two brand new, never before seen, completely original monsters will be introduced, monsters who will star in future godzilla movies.
if anyone has any opinions about these games, the monsters in them, who they would like to see in the game, etc, discuss them here.
FYI: i personally would like to see final wars anguirus, monster x, keiser ghidorah, and final wars godzilla in the wii game.
