What do you think of the latest addition to the Tony Hawk series?

How does it compare to the others?

Also, does anyone know when the UK release date is???????????

The psp version is going to be quite late i'm afraid,

23 March, 2007 according to amazon.

I've seen little bit of footage of the game and i think activision turned this game some kind of old-skool.

I don't know if this is good or bad.

Okay: Big news!

I got the game today, and it is incredible!

Like all the other games its got good points and bad points:

Good:
Great physics
Amazing control
A large variety of missions
Very detailed levels
Great create a skater
Much better cutscenes
Nail-a-trick

Bad:
Levels are too big (you get lost in them)
Story line is a bit vague
No create a park

Apart from the bad points, it is a great game, an excellent addition to the series, and a great recovery from THAW.

Just don't expect it to be much like the rest!

Well in the end it's just another Tony Hawk game except this time in the Next-Gen.

The PSP game should be good, with all the best levels from previous tony hawk games, plus the great new ones from project 8.

Levels include:

Chicago (THPS)
The Mall (THPS)
Minneapolis (THPS)
Marseilles (THPS 2)
Alcatraz (THPS 4)
Hawaii (THUG)
The Ruins (THAW)
Phoenix (?)

Plus all the levels from project 8

I bought it yesterday for the 360 and I have to say I'm impressed. The levels like the suburbs have tons on color, loads to do,and has nice music. I haven't seen any new tricks yet though.

It is nearly as good on the ps2, but i prefer the level set outs on the xbox 360 and the ps3. I really want to get the ps3 so that I can try out the levels

I've got it on XBox 360 (Well ,I did, but I have to wait until Christmas to get my 360 back) and I just have to say how much this game rules! Apart from the fact that I suck at it and the kid looks weird.

I didn't like it at all...
I prefer the Underground series of the game.

Really...

I felt that the best game was Pro Skater 4, and thats why I like Project 8.

The underground series were okay, and I thought they were amazing, and they were the best, but after playing Project 8, I have gone back to liking the old style
