Okay, first, please don't lock this mods. This is different than the favorite character thread. This is where you can post crowning achievements and bad luck and other things like that. An example: I'm working on the 15 Minute Melee. I keep getting down to around five minutes and I am killed by an expolding capsule. The two worth mentioning are: I see a capsule, I want to see what is inside of it but I won't attack it because they keep exploding on me. I have a Ray Gun and I throw it up in the air, I pick up the capsule and right as I throw it, the Ray Gun falls in front of me and the capsule explodes, sending me off the stage. Then I'm Link and I throw my boomerang as I see a capsule. Once I throw the boomerang, I jump up to see what is inside the capsule. I'm standing next to, about to pick it up, when the boomerang comes back, destroys the capsule which in turn, explodes, and sends me flying off the stage. All of that is true, that's why I used it as an example.

I am having trouble on the 15 minute melee. but I do like Roy and marth

I keep getting so close. Do you have a certain way of survivng or killing alot of enemies?


To others, this is not just about 15 Minute Melee. It can be anything. Just in case you didn't know.

a little cheap, but you can use kirby's up B attack on the side and you won't be touched for a few minutes at a time.

This one was me, Roy and Giga bowser. At the start. I run forward and jump over him and slash him and back. I charge at him again and slash him in the face, but then he hits me with a charged attack! I fly through the air but manage to grab on the the ledge. Meanwhile, Giga Bowser was get closer... closer... until he does a cannon ball while I'm still hanging off the edge! He hits me, but he cannon balls himself off the cliff and I win!

You can also be Donkey Kong and use his down B move, you can be Link and his his down A, or you can be Samus and use her down A. I usually use Link and stay near the edge. I use his up A on the people on the platform above me and use the Boomerang on the people beside me. Then when a Corkscrew comes down, I wreak havoc.

No, Giga bowser does thaat a lot.
In event 51, Ganodorf pummeled me and I was falling down, and right before I fall of the stage Giga Bowser comes and cannon balls down the cliff. He hits me and I fly upwards and landed safely back on the main stage, while Giga Bowser takes my place and dies.
Too bad Ganon had to kill be right after...

I'm not saying he doesn't do that, he does it to me and Bowser will do it to me. I'm not saying it is lucky it happened in the first place.

on the event where you have to kill capt falcon in 7 seconds i actually won it with 00:00:01! i am serious!

Does anybody else have bad luck with exploding capsules? I came really close to beating the 15 Minute Melee two times. Once I had 1 minute 50 seconds with 636 kills and the other time I had 1 minute 36 seconds with 413 kills and now, I can only get to around 7 minutes left until I die from the evil capsules.

Oh hilarious one! You know how tough super giant Yoshi is? Well I beat him in TWO secondes. Right is the battle started he ran off the cliff.
And that is 100% true!

Once I was about to beat Giga Bowser on Very Hard Adventure. I had a full life left (just died) and he had about 350%. And then, of course, he got a mega mushroom.

He seriously took up the whole stage. I died in 1 hit

I finally beat the 15 Minute Melee. I had 735 kills. I always beat the big Yoshi easily by throwing it off. It can never jump back on.

I've gotten 15 KO's AND cruel melee, just not 15 IN cruel melee...

I've got one KO in Cruel Melee. I always have fifty something damage and they use their simple punches and I am sent hurling off the screen.

What do you mean? Do you mean he is a good character to use on the Cruel Melee or you like being him or something else?

Celebi does exist. I'm pretty sure you just have to have completed everything to see it. Get all the trophies, finish All-Star Match with all characters, all events. I think it goes to 51. Adventure and Classick with all characters, Target Test thing, and Bean Bag thing. I think that's everything. I know she does exist because I saw her earlier today when I was playing. The computer released her. I have released her before too.

Okay, here's a trick for timed melees. Choose a character that can fly like Kirby or Jigglypuff. There are only two polygons at the match's start. Jump to the top platform, keep flying out of their reach, and whatever you do, don't KO any! Then, there will be five, and they'll start attacking in teams.

Bah, just tried the Cruel Melee after reading some posts, only managed to kill 7 with Mario.

15 minute melee is wicked hard, but I just tried and tried, and tried and tired and tried etc until I did it. Currently I ahve about every trophy and I have everything else.
