Would you rather listen to bands or soundtracks. Please don't lock this

It depends. Some soundtracks (I suppose you mean soundtracks from games or movies) are awesome, but the downside is that the only way to enjoy the music to its fullest is by having actually watched the movie/played the game, as the tracks remind you of specific moments. That's the most enjoyable part.

What you call "normal bands" are our everyday music, but I, for one, can't say I love one specific band: I like one or two songs of one band, another song from another group, but not a single band has managed to release an album I like in its integrity. Breaking Benjamin and Nickelback have come the closest, though.

I like soundtracks, for some reaon they just sound better than bands sometimes, but meh I aren't a big fan of music.
