Songs, not specific bands.
AC/DC and the Rolling Stones are old classics so I wouldn't say they're overrated, they just don't appeal to the majority of the younger *now* generation.
'Push the Button' by the Sh*ttybabes - oops, I don't know why I put that , I mean the Sugababes - is overrated and was very overplayed. The recent 'Take That' song is a bit overrated - hence Leona Lewis's song kicking it's ass in the U.K. charts, (hers is overplayed but definitely not overrated).

This "Beautiful Girl" song by Sean Kingston. I don't see what's so special about it and I'm SICK of listening to it on the radio, hence why I never listen to it, it always plays overrated music.

WT|F|F!!!! Why? I REALLY like both of those! Okay, actually, after the initial shock i am coming to see your point. The Beethoven is actually pretty beginnerish, barring a couple parts, and the cannon is an easy song in arrangements, which most versions are anyways. The cannon can be played on every instrument in at least a passably entertaining version in a few months.

At my school everyone is singing Souja boy. I think it is a really stupid over rated song. If people arent singing it loudly they are singing it in a whisper.

I personally think most music that's played frequently on the television/radio is overrated. I don't hate the music for the sole reason that it's mainstream, but because it's unoriginal, overly generic and isn't very meaningful.
