Mew has one of the best stats in the game and can learn every move you can get your hands on... using him is cheating. But they are still cool. |

Mew does not have the some of the best stats in the game. Give 1 example of what Mew can do thats cheap. He won't sweep your team, wall anything out, or nothing like that. Anything he can do there's a normal pokemon who can do it better. I feel I can name atleast 20 better pokemon then Mew. The only reason people say Mew is cheap is becuase of how powerful Mewtwo is. And how their story lines link them to each other. If there was no Mewtwo Mew would not be considerd cheap. Just like how the Lati@s's are both considerd cheap. A pefect example of what I mean is: Mew sweeper<Alakazam/Salamence Mew wall<Blissy/Skarmory Those are just little examples of what I'm talkin about. I gonna make another post like this about Rayquaza. |

personally i never use legendaries, mostly because every one else does. I like to be original so i try to use pokemon that other people tend to avoid. Also, creating a team of nothing but legendaries not only proves your a noob but also that your heart is not really in the game, as it shows your more concerned with winning with a ridiculously powerful team than with a weaker team made up of your favourite pokemon. |

Now lets not get carried away here, using a legendary or two is ok and all, but a whole team of them seems quite demeaning. For myself though, I don't use legendaries and I will never use one, but it doesn't mean I will train them or anything, I just won't use them in battle. We can't really call ppl using legendaries noobs, because we know they aren't, only time we can is when they get a party full of ubers. |

I don't mind 1 Legendary in a team, I mean fair enough if you want to use one legendary then I think that's fine, but total n00bs that compose teams of 6 Legendaries with n00bish moves sets and think they're uber cool, I mean at least decent players take time in training other pokemon and using them, take my Espeon for example, not an uber pokemon, but I took time to train it, max out its stats and HP (Which took a while) and then I train some other pokemon but my friend who I will not name *coughkrytie-tvcough* just slaps together a team of ubers. Now lets have a look at the teams. Friends Team: Articuno Zapdos Moltres Mewtwo Raikou Entei My Team: Espeon Alakazam Blastoise Blissey Kingdra Slowbro Fast forward three minutes. Result: Articuno= Owned by Espeon Zapdos= Owned by Espeon Moltres=Owned by Slowbro after it defeated Espeon Mewtwo=Owned by Blastoise Raikou= Owned by Blissey Entei= Owned by Kingdra Team Analyse: Key: O = Owned S = Survived Friends Team: Articuno O Zapdos O Moltres O Mewtwo O Raikou O Entei O My Team: Espeon O Alakazam S Blastoise S Blissey S Kingdra S Slowbro S I rest my case, any Legendary team can be owned by the right pokemon. |

But wait, u said ur friend slapped toghether that team right? So basically they didn't train like you did right? Now say if they did Ev training and all that good stuff and Max their stats, then would we call it a battle? I'm just saying you trained ur Pokemon, but they slapped toghether, now if they did everything u did with ur pokemon, would the battle be one sided? Who knows, but i tell u this, it wouldn't be a walk in the park. |

They were well trained, but they were still easy to beat, all he did was all out attack, I prefer to go with mainly Defense strategy with a bit of attacking. |

Gardevoir, you just perfectly described what my friends do 
I don't mind Legendaries at all, the can all be beaten. I mean i wiped out my friends Uber Team with my Umbreon and Claydol. And i will almost always have a Legendary in my team aswell, Mewtwo or Latios. It's not the Legendaries that annoy me it's the people that think they are awesome and unbeatable when they use them |

But I mainly use things like Toxic, Recover etc but still things like Cosmic Power I use too, plus with a high defense, spec defense and HP stat they're really annoying... take my Blissey for example: HP: 620 Def: 150 Spec Def: 252 Moves: Softboiled Egg Bomb Thunder Return Now my Defense Deoxys: HP: 259 Def: 361 Spec Def: 315 Moves: Thunder Psycho Boost Psychic Recover Now imagine those in a battle, just trying to whittle down the HP but they're attacking while you do it and if your pokemon has low HP, well god help you. |

Yeah, I use my Articuno sometimes, but never go overboard and say/do something I will regret. I think that most people respect 00bers, and those select few that worship them and abuse their power (wrongly) are unlucky fellas. Having a team of 6 00bers/legends doesnt really matter of you think you are teh shiz, for take this team: 
Well...Regirock/Golem/good Rock type+Rock Slide+STAB=pwnage. OMG. You beat 6 legends with one/none *gasp* Counting as half of them have a 4x Rock weakness....although I honeslty dont know who would use 6 Flyings on thier team. -Gardevoir~ |

A good offense is all you need to take care of ur pokemon Blissey-Fighting w/really good atk stats, 1 dynamic punch....a lot of hp is gone and confused Deoxys-Dark w/really good sp atk, 1 Crunch....a lot of hp is gone and may have a chance to decrease sp def...and dark is imune to psychic. The only lame part is that u have Recovering moves so, that might get ppl, but eventually the other pokemon will take them out. =much faster (ho-oh will probably use earthquake)
=much faster and can surf/ice beam/earthquake)
regirock has a chance though, as it'll probably survive most hits. |

i don't know about you, b twhen i first came on netbattle, i started out with an all dragon type team... with rayquaza and the lati@s as my starters.... and i lost. Rayquaza is my fave pokemon, so I try and use him whenever i get the chance, and i can't use him anywhere! and if i wee any good at servers, i would mak eone.... but still.... having ubers in your team doesn't mean your going to win all the time, quite the contrary..... |

I dislike people who use legendaries. I love the normal type of pokemon that are chillin in the long grass not who are in a secret hut village. I hate the fact that people use legendaries and win. It just isnt fair and especially those 6 Legendary Teams. AAHHH!!
