I think people said it best early...two save files. Simple and it pleases most of the Pokemon audience. I like to start new games a lot, I like going through the story line with a team of different pokemon. That would be a great addition

Standadized remakes. Like, having FR/LG and RSE on par with newer games.
Dual save files.
Customizable characters and accesories for your pokemon. I'd like to have a pidgeotto with an aviator's helmet and scarf.
Sound test option.
Specialized training areas made just to raise your pokemon.

There are A LOT of things I would like to see, but here are some:

- Dual Save Files*
- Dual Typed Attacks*
- A PURE Flying Type
- Have Ghost Files (battle yourself)*
- More PWN Electric PKMN
- Talking Pokemon
- Customizable Characters
- Go Back To Previous Regions*
- A Dark Gym
- New Pokeballs*
- NO NEW EVEELUTIONS! 5 IS ENOUGH!
- Pokemon Follow You (like in Yellow)*
- Choose A Starter From Any Generation
- CRAZY GOOD GRAPHICS*
- More Gyms

And as much as people say "playing as A Gym Leader" or Elite 4 would be cool, I don't find that to be very interesting.

I'd definitely like a standard game for the Wii. No, not PBR - just battles there. Colosseum and XD are for the Gamdcube and work on the Wii, but I'd like something like DPP on the Wii.

i think they should make one where you start in kanto
you get the starter there but thers no masters dungeon after e4
then you go to johto get starter then go to e4 but you dont get lugia or ho-oh
then you go to hoenn get starter do e4 but no ledgendary
go to sinnoh get starter do e4 no ledgendary
then they make a new region you get the starter then go to e4 no ledgendary
(after you have every gym badge (40))
you go to the ledgendary isle
in this all the ledgendaries are roaming but they are also fighting for most powerfull ledgendary
its your job to catch them or defeat so that they dont destroy the entire world
team rocket are also trying to capture the raging pokemon
so erm

waddya think?

Post subject:  Re: What do you want in future Pokemon Games?

Here's what I like to see:

1) Dodging of attacks. Pokemon should have a a new stat called evasion that allows them to dodge attacks.

2) Berry trees that don't die after you pick the berries, and berry trees that produce more than just a handful of berries per harvest. I mean, it makes sense right? I'm sure no one uproots an entire tree just to pluck a few fruits.

3) Pokemon should be able to learn more than just 4 moves each time. I'm quite sure Pokemon memory isn't so bad that they can only remember how to use 4 moves. I'm sure a Pikachu knows how to use thundershock even if you force it to "forget" how to. Some moves are just instinctive.

4) Pokemon should be able to digest the Poffins/Pokeblocks they eat. It doesn't make sense why a Pokemon stays full forever once it gets full once. I don't see why we can't max out all the contests stats of a Pokemon. Talking about digestion, it'll be fun if Pokemon could get hungry and we could feed them stuff.

5) PP of Pokemon Moves should be replaced with an overall energy bar that decreases each time a Pokemon uses any move. Strong moves would require more energy and Weaker moves would require less energy. This energy bar should be able to regenerate over time.

6) Combination Attacks. Pokemon should be able to combine moves for greater effect. It's already being used in Pokemon Dungeon series, I'd love to see it in future Pokemon adventure RPGs.

7) Difference in power between weaker and stronger Pokemon should be increased, dramatically. A legendary Pokemon should be much much stronger than an ordinary Pokemon, not just a little. This applies for evolved Pokemon as well. The way the metagame works now, many Pokemon are already segregated by power, so I see no harm in making this difference bigger to make legendary Pokemon really Legendary. I hate seeing Rayquazas getting defeated by Ice Moves from ordinary Pokemon like Abomasnow etc etc and I wreck my brains over why Groudon gets hurt by fire when it lives in Magma.

8) A negative trait of a Pokemon should not be made an "ability". How can you call Truant or Slow Start an ability?

9) Pokemon should be able to have more than 1 ability, especially those who can have only either 1 of 2 abilities right now.

10) We should be able to mount certain Pokemon when we travel, not just when surfing. Just imagine riding a Dragonite instead of cycling.

11) Oh, and how can I forget? I really hope Nintendo can make the Pokemon world much bigger than the current scaled down version. Also, making the game more realistic by allowing us to get jobs etc. etc. would really spice things up a little bit.

I'm sure I've plenty more that I can't remember right now, but these would do for now. :)

Post subject:  Re: What do you want in future Pokemon Games?

I'm just going to post my idea for a game that would work on the wii, or computer.

However, Nintendo would never make this.

First off, make it a 3-D Game (or keep it 2-d), and have all the regions in one game exept for stuff like Pokemon Ranger area.

Now, you have the 4 regions right?
Kanto
Johto
Hoen
Shino(sp)
You start off in Kanto, and go into Shino. You won't obtain the National Dex until you have beaten the E4 with at least 1/2 of the Pokemon seen. Now, about the Pokemon that you would carry over to the other region. I was thinking of 3 blocks. A block in between K and J, J and H, and H and S. These Blocks would not allow you to take Pokemon you have obtained in the certain region until you have between the E4.

Now as far as Legendary and Pokemon unobtainable to get (like All starters), should be available after you have done a certain task. Like for instance, in the Shino region, you should be able to get your rival starter after you've beat him 5 times, and for Dawns starter it should be an amount of Happiness or amount of ribbons you've got.
For the Legendarys, you should be able to get them all
3 Birds, Mewtwo - Kanto(in places from FR/LG)
Mew - After the Island quest, you get the ticket. You can use this Ticket after you obtain the National Dex. It will flee and roam among the lands!
Jhoto Legendarys - (Same as in G/S)(I cant think of how to get Celebi)
Hoen Legendarys - (Same as in R/S/E) (You will get to go to Birth Island, when the count down in the Space center hits 0) (Both Latis are roaming)
Everyone else is in Shino

With items, they work similar to the Block system. Lets say your switching from K to J. You would have to switch in with the bag every time you go somewhere. I haven't thought of this out fully, but there would be a lot more relatives and friends rather than 4 different moms.

Now, the fighting style. I want to see a Fighting Game style fight, not a turn base. This could work either 2-D or 3-D. You would be able to dodge moves, and lock on easier. (certain moves won't allow you to use them when locked on.) This would also allow specials, like every 25 levels a Pokemon gains a new special, so you can have up to 5 specials. Each bring into a mini game, and would be something like swinging the wii controller as fast as you can.
Exsample.
Porgyon-Z
Special - Hacking
Gain Power - The more circles you make (by spinning the wiimote) will add 10 power per circle. You have 10secs to do this.
In order to use specials, there will be a bar filled up to 4. It slowly builds up as time goes on. (It takes 3 mins to fully refill the bar) Normally
the more bars, the stronger that attack can be.

Wouldn't that be fun to mess around with?
However I can see some special cloning, aswel power specials, like more of a Hyper form. (Like supersonic in SSBB)
For PP, there should be a bar under HP, that labels "PP". Every time you use a move, it lowers it down. Of course moves like Will-o-Wisp, and Charge won't
take a lot off PP, but moves like Hyper Beam would take it completely down. Special Moves, also devour all of your PP weather its full, or at 1. They take it down. The moves of the Pokemon would be the "B+up" moves if it where on Brawl.

Now there would be some basic moves that would do around 10 damage at best (all basic type, no resistances, or weakness), these moves increase to 70 or more if a Pokemon is using a Hyper Mode ( all B attacks would be increased by 5% - 30%)

Anyways, those are a few ideas for a 3-D fighting game involving Pokemon.

id love the games to be longer, with a good story line , RSE had a quite good story line , with team Aqua etc

A battle tower that you can gain experience from,

Rather than training through elite four all the time

I remember on GSC, in the kanto region , you could battle players you had battle through link, i loved that idea

I would want there to be more useful items like the Poketch in the game. The Poketch always came in handy sometime. I also would love for there to be a longer storyline too. Just ending and having to train your Pokemon seems sort of boring after a while.

Post subject:  Re: What do you want in future Pokemon Games?

I've been picking away at an idea for a while:

First off, NO NEW POKEMON. 493 is enough for right now...

You start out in the *Blank* Islands. Your parents encourage you to go visit your new neighbor, who was previously the champion of all four regions of the Pokemon leagues. (Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, Hoenn). You go over and he takes an interest in you, and tells about how he's interested in taking the Island League Challege. Its a competition of eight elite trainers in a row. The whole game you don't battle gym leaders or anything, but you do have bosses. Island leaders, but they don't give you specific badges. There are five islands, plus a volcanic island that has no leaders. Your neighbor, the guy who will OBVIOUSLY be the champion you face at the end, gives you three pokemon to pick from: Level 15 Beldum, Level 15 Dratini, Level 15 Larvitar. I think it'd be fun to be able to have these guys as starters. If you choose Beldum, he takes Larvitar. If you take Dratini, he takes Beldum. If you take Larvitar, he takes Dratini. He's your rival.

You journey, you catch pokemon, as usual.

You fight the five island leaders. Then you fight the Island League. Then its over.

Post subject:  Re: What do you want in future Pokemon Games?

Maybe when you use fly it takes time and you get attacked by wild flying pokemon? It would defeat the purpose of fly somewhat but if the battles were rare and you flew SUPER fast it'd be pretty awesome.

I had some ideas for pokemon too.

The first one is a plain dragon type. It would have little mini wings that weren't nearly large enough for flight, but they'd be there. It would be a fluffball pokemon like Jigglypuff, but it would have fangs and stuff and be a dragon. It would evolve at level 20. This would have to use my idea above. If it was in a battle in the sky it would become a huge badass flying dragon that would be white and grey with HUGE wings. If it evolved on the ground it would become a ground dragon that would be black and brown and it would have two huge crests on it's back, like that dinosaur that I forget the name of. If it evolved in water it would become a huge sea dragon with big fins on its back. So it would be this tiny little cute pink fluffball, and then evolve into huge badass dragons.

This one would be similar, with different evolutions in different places, but for this one to work the flight battles couldn't exist. It would start out as a tiny tadpole. It'd be water at that point. It'd evolve at level 5-10 to a little brown frog that would be ground type. Then at level 10-15 it'd become a colorful tree frog. Then at 25-30 it would evolve into:
a) If it reached that level when in/on water it would become a huge blue water type frog with fins and stuff like that.
b) If it reached that level when in a cave it would become a big spiky ground type frog with big spikes on it's back and it would look kind of like a big blob of mud in the shape of a frog.
c) If it got to that level in tall grass it would become an even bigger colorful tree frog with grass growing from it's back.
d) If it got to that level in none of the above then: too bad, you wait until the next time it levels up.

Post subject:  Re: What do you want in future Pokemon Games?

Here's what I want to see in a future pokemon game;

1. More Ice type legendaries.
2. A pokemon that has a type combo of Fire/Water.
3. Gym Leaders & Elite 4 who chooses the order of their pokemon based on your party you challenge them with.
4. Gym Leaders & Elite 4 who have alternative pokemon parties based on your party you challenge them with.
5. More types like Light, Wind & Lava(bit skeptical on this one).
6. The ability to activate the PokeRadar while surfing.
7. The ability to activate the PokeRadar while fishing.
8. The ability to activate the PokeRadar while in tall grass.
9. Sections in caves, mountains, etc. that allow you to activate the PokeRadar in said location.
10. Older Starter Pokemon in the wild like most other pokemon.
11. Ability to customize your trainer's attire & maybe even their hair style.
12. A Poison type Eevee evolution.
13. A battle system that gives lower evolution pokemon a fair chance.
14. Pokemon Region with a darker setting then usual.
15. A choice between double wild battles & single wild battles.
16. Only being able to use the same amount of pokemon as your opponent outside of Wi-Fi battles.
17. A improved Battle Factory.
18. Access to all regions or at least more then two.
19. Adjustments to some pokemon's base status.
20. The ability to choose which pokeball you want your newly hatched pokemon to be in.
& 21. For Fireblast to do something special when Sunny Day is active, simular to Thunder & Rainy Dance.

I'm done now...

Skullkid and I have been wanting this game for a very long time.

Pokemon Stadium 3 - Make it completely the same as 2, just add the last few generations to the mix, 40+ mini games, full online experience and the return of rental pokemon for those who want to play against a friend at home without having to pull out the handhelds.

I may have said this way back in the beginning of this thread, to lazy to look.

Size & Weight change, you should be able to catch pokemon at different sizes and weight.

Example: {onix} = 28'10/463ibs - Possible: 15'00 - 28'10 - 40'00 & 300ibs - 463ibs - 2000+ibs

Would be nice if size difference was actually noticeable in console battle games. (stadium, Rev)
