Well, you need to discuss this somewhere. Besides, I already told a girl
in my school that I liked her, but when I posed the question as to if she
liked me, as already speculated, she told me that she liked someone else.

With May, I can always dream about her at night and never worry about
the stress of finding a real female partner someday. And, you must admit,
it's much easier day-dreaming of a girl that you'll never really meet in
your life than thinking of someone who's real, but likes someone else.

i think its so sweet that u like a fiction character. I've liked soo many guys from pokemon its not funny. And i like a boy at school and he don't like me so i think its goood to like unreal people. Keep dreaming it might come true!!!

This thread is begining to get just slightly off-topic.

People obsess over fictional characters more and more these days because our society is becoming more computerized. Hence, people spend more time at home and less time outside, meeting those who actually exist.

People don't actuallly "fall in love" with the characters. Love is more than appearences, more than body shapes and absolutely more than cool outfits.

People "fall in love" with fictional characters when they think they're good-looking or have a hell of a body. This is not love, is just some sort of attraction. That's why we see lots of Fanfictions with self-inserction, people like to start an immaginary relationship with the characters they like. Its preety normal, the human brain and psychological has still many misteries, but I can assure this is just a natural behaviour.

If you think more brightily you'll realize it happens in the outside life as well. The first thing that attracts someone is the other's appearances. Its admiration, not true love. Later on that feeling might start growing.

Of course it is a problem if you become obssesed. If you can think of no one than that character, unless you are a very lonely person, than you have to start some sort of outgoing treatment. You'll find out there are better things out there: more real and "touchy".

If you think fall in love with a fictional character means consider than beauties than I'm in love with Robert, the coordinator (main reason why I claimmed him).

My only argument about her in the anime is how obnoxiously cute her pokemon are. If she had, say, caught a {duskull} (even if she didn't evovle it), then my opinion may have been diffrent.

Prepare for a rant from someone who has never dated and has no mature expirence with love.

All you guys do is discuss that May and Misty are pretty. Nice and all, but it's personallity and manners and the good inside the person that you should like.
It's one thing to like an animae charater, another to do it because of how great they look. :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated:
It's ANIMAE. Everyone looks good as an animae character, and okish in Real Life. Myself included. ;)
You guys may even be more immature than (Goodness gracious) ME love-wise.

...But I do like Drew. I bet he and May get together. Sorry to spoil your fantasy Pokemaster. :mrgreen:
