He wasn't being serious, Tuff Tyranitar. He was just speculating that it COULD happen in the last movie. The tenth movie was only just released last Saturday, geez. >_>

Just because a series ends doesn't mean the main character has to die. Pokémon isn't anywhere NEAR that dramatic anyway. :/

Whoever said Giovanni never asked for pikachu is wrong

He explicitly said "Bring me pikachu" in one of the pokemon songs
I think it was the team rocket song or the pokerap

Lol yeah it was a joke but now that I think about it, it can be him. He hustles for money to send to Ash's mom (Because it looks as if she doesn't work) idk, just a thought because as of now he seems really cryptic.

Also, nobody will see that coming. Well besides me of course.

Well I always had this theory ever since I heard about Ash's Mom mentioning about his father going off on his own Pokemon Adventure. I think Ash's Dad is perhaps a very high ranking member like a member of the Elite Four or Pokemon Champion or maybe even the Pokemon Master.

And one day during the final episodes (if Pokemon ever ends) Ash ends up facing him in an epic battle.

I agree with Eternal Dragon. Ash's dad doesn't have to appear in the anime to prove that he actually has one. As for the theory that Professor Oak is Ash's dad... come on. Maybe more like his grandfather. Am I the only one who thinks Oak is a little too old for Ash's mom? D:

those who think that Oak is Ash's dad aren't thinking this thru for example, if Oak was Ash's dad that means that Ash would be Gary's UNCLE out of all the candidates Giovanni seems more likely

and yes there was a live show in japan where delia says that Giovanni is Ash's father but since it's not anime its canonicity is debatable

I think Ash's father is dead. Has been for a while. He hasn't been seen in the anime and never will be.

I think it is Silver from Pokemon Chronicles. He appears to know Ash yet they never did meet in the show(or at least from any episodes I saw)

A friend mentioned Ash's dad appearing in only Japanese episodes. They never showed it in the U.S because of bad words.
Something tells me it's Giovanni.

Ash is his own dad. He used Celebi to travel back in time and found his mom and they did it and she had Ash.
