One of the things I am sad they never carried into the newer games was the day/night thing, so it would be cool to see it make a return.

Johto = the best region imo
Just take a look at the card in my sig, all johto apart from Torkoal.
A Yellow remake would be cool too, only instead of being based on Yellow, it could be based on Crystal or something, like: Start with..... Pikachu, and get the johto starters through the game etc.

There's been quite a few topics about this, but I can't really find them, so...

Anyway, back on topic, Crystal has always been my favourite version, in terms of features, plot, gameplay etc. The only thing it lacked was the new graphics and music, so if they were to make a remake for it, it would easily <s>become</s> remain my favourite for a considerable amount of time ^_^

I really liked the Radio feature, and the Day/Night feature. Being able to go to two regions was another great feature. Other minor details like the Kurt's Custom Pokeballs, Lance's major involvement in the storyline, the ability to catch a shiny naturally... blah, Crystal's the greatest

It would probably be awesome. Pokemon Silver and Crystal are two of my favorite gameboy colour games, and seeing a remake would totally pwn. However, to make the remake a total sucess, they'd have to include all of the key features that were included in GSC.

-In game clock (Not like RSE's clock.)
-Radio
-Phone (Not like Emerald's phone, that was just annoying.)
-16 Badges
-Crystal's Battle Tower
-Custom Pokeballs

Without these features, a remake would be useless in my opinion.

Oh... I havent played crystal in so long I forgot all o those things, arr old memories, Ive lost crystal now, might as well have a pokemon refresh and buy Crystal and maybe a Nintendo 64 with pokemon stadium 2 as I sold it foolishly when i though I went off pokemon. I hate myself for that. *Slap wrist* Naughty.

ZOMG! Im getting Gold tomorrow from my friend for a measly 5 bucks! And he is even going to throw in Pinball for an extra $3! How lucky am I?
Now...I really get to see the beauty of GSC....from my SP's lovely screen. Oh, boy.

A remake would be awsome. But I don't think they'll make one since they put Totodile, Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Ho-oh and Lugia in R/S/E and LG/FR. It would be cool if they did though.

Turn-based games make me frown, but cuz PKMN's a rpg game i luv it.

If dey do make a remake of g/s/c hopefuly dey make it something lyk <DigimonWorld 1> Impossible i guess. Mite create havoc among fans of PKMN.

GSC is better than RBY. I like Crystal version as the pokemon are animated.

RSE LGFR's animation's better.
Why not take all the good points of all versions n implement them into the Pearl/Diamond version?

I think it would be a travisty if GSC were remade.

They were bad.
-75% if the new pokemon were under used because you could still use the origional 151 that everyone loved.
-The map layout sucked.
-More HM's
-The phone was annoying as heck.
-You had to surf over to the Kanto area to be able to fly to the elite four. I know it's less than ten squares but it was a pain. I remember several times that I was surfing over and I got attacked by some useless tentacool. Having to go through the mundane battling of the elite four is bad enough, now I have to deal with random battling on occasion.

The worst part was: who's the Pokemon league champion that you have to face after the elite four? Is it your rival with a strong, diverse team like in RBY? No, your new rival is a little brat who doesn't even have a level 55 pokemon. The champion is Lance the dragon "master". I use master extremely loosely because his entire team can be taken out with this moveset: Ice beam, thunder bolt, surf, [any move]
Need a move set for a physical sweeper instead? Here you go: Rock slide, [any move], [any move], [any move]

I pray that GSC is never remade. If it does get remade I hope it is completely different than the origional.

I support it 100%! You can find a FR/LG style azelea town at the spriter's resource, but be sure that the creator(s) get(s) credit!

im normaly a firm believer in an oldy should be left alone but in fr and lg they did a good job so i think they could redo gsc quite well

I do not mean to offend anyone but a remake of aall threee is a waste of time. I believe that they should just make a remake of Yellow Version and Crystal Version. Thats it. A remake of all three johto games is a waste of time. You can already get the johto creatures from FireRed and LeafGreen. They should only make one new Johto region game, so why not the best? Just make Crystal. Thats really all that we need. Plus a new Yellow version, because come on, Pikachu following you was cool!
