Lance is one of the easiest people to beat and he's supposed to be one of the best.

My vote goes to James. He deserves it after all he's been through.

Totally Lance. He was awesome in GSC, and he's not too shabby in the Kanto versions either. Besides, on one trip through the E4 in FR, Aerodactyl got 3 Ancientpower-ups out of 4 uses, and he killed my entire team.

I don't really like James all that much. I love Dragons anyways so I vote Lance.

Yes, but look closly at all the posts the support Lance. Easily half of them can be boiled down to "I love dragons, dragons are cool, vote to Lance because he has dragons." Some even add "James is dumb and stupid and dumb, did I mention dumb?" Not in those exact words, but you get the jist of it...I think.

Examples:

James is an annoying idiot. Lance is a dragon master.

Dragons are the best.So I will vote for Lance.

IMO, this whole thing should end right now, seeing as Lance will win the entire thing, but that's just me.

In my opinion, you should just let things flow. Besides, do you want more reasons to vote for Lance? I think those are the main reasons... And if one likes dragons, why on earth would he not vote for a Dragon trainer, who happens to be in the E4?
I for one don't see James having half as much going for him. If it's a matter of voting James just to be different, then I fail to see the point too.

I see what you mean, most arguments are crappy, but seeing as this is just a friendly competition, I don't think people will, or should, bother looking much deeper to form an opinion. Lance is cool, James isn't cool. It comes down to that, as it has throughout the whole GPCT. Chill out... this is just a game.

A reason on why they like dragons would be nice. And I think only 1-3 of the votes to James were to be different, if there were any at all. I think James is really funny in the anime, and really fun to watch, along with the rest of Team Rocket. And James is cool. 8)

But yeah, I over reacted a bit; I'm just annoying how part of the fanbase for Lance is also the part of the fanbase for James-bashing.

Well, from a very 4-dimensional prism view, James could be cool... Joking. Everyone's entitled to their opinion

I like dragons because of the samples out there, most of them are pretty good, and if only, rather cool-looking. I like the movepools, most of the time insanely large, I like their stats, which tend to give emphasis to Atk /Spatk and some speed, and seeing as I like good old fashioned sweeper sets, that's one more thing going for them. The pokemon that belong to the Dragon Egg Group, even though not being Dragon-Types, are, the majority of them, quite impressive as well, namely Aero, Charizard, Sceptile, etc. Oh, and their resistance set is also quite useful, of course. 0,5x Fire, Water, Grass and Electric is pretty impressive, IMO.

I dislike James because I do not find him funny, he, like the rest of the Rocket's, got repetitive after the 100th appearance, his portuguese voice actor sounds like Meat Loaf with a hangover and his pokemon can all be defined as "utterly useless". The worst thing he did was Weezing go.

There, now I believe I justified my choice. Sorry if I sounded arrogant in my previous post, though. I do, sometimes. Unwillingly, of course.

you know what i think they are little kids that are bias toward lance. they love his dragons and they hate james. it is true that lance will win, but it is the fact that you can't choose just because someone has the pokemon you like.

Dragon pokemon rule, capes rule, red hair rules... Lance rules... Thats why I voted for James. ^_^ Im weird, also Team Rocket is cool, James gets eaten by a Victreebel alot ^_^.

I never really did like Flannery that is why I pick Noland. Also he looks cool.

Tough choice.Both are cool and have nice Pokemon (Noland has Articuno in the Anime).Flannery is just pretty and her Torkoal is a beast (the thing can survive an atack it's weak too and has Overheat in Emerald).Flannery got my vote.
