Do any of you think that the game should install some form of fear factor? What I mean is, wouldn

I don't know... It would make the game a little unbalanced. A tyranitar or groudon has high enough stats already, if you, say, {bellossom} is scared of it, it gives them an even greater advantage.

One good thing: Ash's pikachu would be screwed in the anime ^_^

It would make the game highly unbalanced, becasue a Lv. 7 Gastly could own almost every pokemon. It is a interesting thought though.

That's an interesting statement and it would make it more realistic, but it really would cause too many weaknesses.

Yeah, more realistic means less balanced. Life is never fair :?

Besides, there's already the Intimidate ability for scary-looking Pokemon.

Yeah, I forgot about that. Speaking of which, how come Hitmontop has Intimidate? It doesn

true. it looks like my little cousin when hes spinning on its head, also, why does {masquerain} have intimidate? That thing is like a pretty little bug to me.

{masquerain} has intimidate because of the patterns on its wings. Bugs use those kinds of patterns to make themselves look dangerous to predators.

As for {hitmontop}, isn't it a little more intimidating to have to attack something that spins around on its head flailing wildly with its legs?

Umm, no, not really. id count it as a lunatic or something that should be institutionalized in an asylum :?

Haha! Nice. I think it has Intimidate because... okay, so i don't actually know. Maybe they couldn't decide on a good ability for it. Although Guts would work just fine for it

{hitmontop} doesn't look scary-it looks kinda dumb, what with a spike on it's head that it spins around on all the time.

i wonder if it's head ever gets sore or if it gets dizzy....wait...dizzy....Own Tempo would work for Hitmontop cuz it's spinning around like nuts and it would prolly get confused if it kept spinning and spinning and spinning forever

I think haveing emotions such as being scared or confident in a battle is a good thing! Just think if your pokemon is confident it could have 20% more attack power or somthing if it is scared it'll lose 20% of its own attack! 8)
