What Pokemon do you think Max should have?

Once Max becomes a trainer, I think he should have the following as his team...

{snorlax} in destiny deoxys, he was friends with munchlax, and then it evolved so yeas, a {snorlax} is very likely

he wikll not get a {metagross} cause he says " cool its a _______" for every pokemon
Just cause he used {poliwag} doesnt mean he's gonna get one :?
not a {shuppet} just cause he's friends with a guy means he is gonna get one, he is friends with ash, and he doesnt have any of his pokemon
Not {treecko} cause ash has one and in the anime and for the main characters, they dont have 2 of the same pokemon

According to your logic, would it be impossible for him to get a Snorlax, since May already has a Munchlax?

In the episode they were battling the Winstrates. The Winstrates were 4, but the only real trainers out of our heroes were 3 (Ash, Brock, May), so Max borrowed Ash's Corphish to battle.

There is no such logic, since:
- Ash has a Bulbasaur, May has a Bulbasaur
- Ash has a Snorlax, May has a Munchlax
- Ash has a Squirtle. May has a Squirtle. <--- Highlight for Spoilers

Back on topic, I think Max should go back for that Ralts; it should be his starter. He also likes the Slakoth line; he is close with his dad (who uses them) and even considered getting one for his starter in that starter episode. As for the other ones, I don't think we can really guess by the ones he's used or seen. But I think he should get: Arcanine, Manectric, Sceptile, Golduck.

May has a munclax? since when? may has a squirtle? ash gave away his squirtle,ash does nt have his snorlax anymore, and his bulbasaur is never with him. sorry for the spoiler, but i dont know how to do invisible writing.
His squirtle is back with the squad.

May captured Munchlax right before she competed in the Grand Festival. She lured it with some homemade Pokeblocks that all the other Pokemon retched/fainted upon tasting. :lol: May received Squirtle from Professor Oak after the Hoenn season and before they left for the Battle Frontier.

You know, coming to think of it, we really should have an emoticon for Munchlax. :P

It will definitely be Ralts. It's a good choice for him and he did promise he'd go back for it when he became a trainer. Besides that, few Pokemon would really work with Max because there's no way he'd get an overly strong Pokemon or something his sister or friends have already owned (which covers a lot of bases between the four).

If my theory that the Anime is progressing in real time (hence why Ash, Misty and Brock all look older in Advanced Generation), and if Max will still be featured on the show, it's not entirely out of the question that he'd be old enough to begin training Pokemon at the start of the Pearl/Diamond region and go back for Ralts.

Max should definetely get the {ralts}, but i reckon he should also get an {eevee}. I dunno why, it just suits him. He should also get a {vulpix}. Yes, i know Brock had one, but it would suit Max too.

Pokemon Elite 2000 forum has sprites for Rukario, Munchlax, Bonsly Manene and Manyula, by the way

He wanted to see it evolve because he never seen that ocurrence before.
{mightyena} would be a prefect pokemon for him {poochyena} is weaker

The Ralts was never his Hail the dragons, and Wally was also in Ruby/Sapphire. He is kinda like Wally... I think he will get a Swablu (cause Wally's got an Altaria)
