I know this is the first new thread in this forum in months, but I need to share this with you guys. Just recently, they released the first act of the XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution in Japan. Why am I so fond of it, you ask? Because Ash isn't the main character! Our protagonist, Alan, is actually knowledgeable about battles, while also being generally badass. He even helps a noob catch her first Pokémon, by advising her to use a status move first! The animation quality is also top-notch. If you want to watch it subbed, go here for now. I'll probably buy the series on DVD when it gets the inevitable US release. |
