Everyone's heard of the Nuzlocke Challenge-- an extremely hard optional way to play any main series pokemon game. But few people have heard of a new, unique challenge. This challenge is named after Team Rocket. The rules are as follows:

1) Aside from your starter, you are limited in the types of Pokemon you can use: Poison, Bug, Dark, Ghost, Ground, and certain Normal-types: Rattata or that region's equivalent (Sentret, Zigzagoon, Bidoof, Watchog).
2) OPTIONAL: If you have a cheating device, you can use Pokemon outside those types if they have been captured from another trainer. If you lose with a stolen Pokemon, they have been 'freed' and you must release it. However, you can ONLY steal the last Pokemon from a gym leader or other important character.
3) You cannot leave an area until all accessible trainers have been defeated.
3a) If you're playing a first or second gen game, or a remake, avoid Team Rocket as much as possible. (playing third gen or beyond, crush the opposing team completely)
4) Trading is allowed only with other people taking the Team Rocket Challenge.
5) Your mission is completed when you have captured (NOT defeated any) all of the legendary Pokemon of that region for the glory of Team Rocket!

This is pretty interesting. I'll go ahead and take a whack at it with all 5 of my games (Leafgreen, Emerald, Platinum, Heartgold, Black).

That's a weird objective. Team Rocket was the only team that gave absolutely no craps about legendaries.
