Here are some Ideas
{blaziken} - Fino
{infernape} - Aiden
{arceus} - Shift
{meganium} - Flora
{feraligatr} - Khishan
{sceptile} - Blerim
{swampert} - Yhato
{venusaur} - Tale

Each name has different meanings fitting in some way to each of them

Yay! I caught a Shiny Tentacool!
Quite not an achievement but good enough.
I was thinking of naming it Lavendierre and it's female.

Also, I caught a Shiny Ditto!
Now that's an achievement. I can breed with any No-Egg Pokemon, and there's a chance of it being shiny.
It's Male, and I'm trying to breed it with Ace, she's female.
I named it..... Skyshifter!
Etymology:
Sky(the blue color?)+Shifter(Like Transformer, but I don't want to refer to a lame robot and it will suck)

Breeding shinyes gives no extra chance of the Egg being shiny
I breed my shiny ditto (miracle) with a shiny solrock ( solar)
and no luck at all.

Well, at least I can hope to get a Shiny by breeding it with a non-shiny..
Like this:
Ditto + any non-legend= a slim chance of the baby being shiny.

I've been trying to breed y shiny Feebas, no luck here either. :/ Someone bred shiny jigglypuff on emerald w/ Ditto and the 3rd egg was shiny, though. If a pkmn's gong to hatch shiny, is the egg shiny? What color is it?

No it's not.
And, khoufu, maybe if it was Emerald, the egg will move a bit and sparkle if it was shiny.
I just restarted Emerald so I can get my hands on that female Torchic. I found her. I named her Flame! I caught a Ralts(which now is a Kirlia) female! Modest Nature! Perfect for my evil plans.... ehehe. Named Psyche. Caught a
Nincada, a cutter, Named Niko! He was my first male. <3

My Diamond Pokemon in my current team have some pretty corny nicknames. But here are they and why they're called that. I plan to name the Lake Trio too. I just don't know what to call them.

Emperor - Male Empoleon - Just as in 'Emperor Penguin.' I was going to originally going to call him Cobblepot (get the reference? ;P) but I thought that would be just too ridiculous.
Cotton - Female Lopunny - As in Cottontail. I love fluffy tails.
Aquila - Female Staraptor - As in Eagle. Just for that reason.
Chronos - Dialga - As in a reference to the Greek (or is it Roman) got of time.
Lucy - Female Lucario - I just wanted to give a short version of Lucario's name as a nickname to my female Lucario. It's got a good ring to it too.
Sparks - Just as in electricity can produce sparks.

Spelled like that, 'baggu' means 'bag' in Japanese. You'd want to use 'mushi', so it'd be Hayamushi.
I would name that Scizor.... Ridley.

After I finish replaying (as in clobbering for the umpteenth time) Fire Red, my Brother and I decided to try going through my FR and his LG with exactly the same Pokemon. I was wondering if I could have some different language (not current English or Japanese nicknames) nicknames for my team. I have basic word ideas, but I don't have good access to name dictionaries.

Squirtle: Female {squirtle} - Ideal nickname - Rain
Vulpix: female {vulpix} - Ideal nickname - Curse
Tangela: female {tangela} - Ideal nickname - Vine
Kangaskhan: female {kangaskhan} - Ideal nickname - Protecter
Porygon: genderless {porygon} - Ideal nickname - Nothing (as in the concept of nothing, not no nickname)
Vaporeon: female {vaporeon} - Ideal nickname - Dream

I named my first Ditto - Xerox

All my other pokemon (for the most part) have human names. I tend to name them according to what I'm watching on TV.

The only Pokemon that I've nicknamed would be my Espionage {espeon}.

Through RNG abuse I managed to get a shiny Murkrow that I evolved into a Honchkrow {honchkrow}. I want to nickname it but can't really think of anything, so it would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me out :D . It's female and pink, if that helps.

These are my pokemon and their nicknames.

Vaporeon - Female - Waves (as in Waves in the sea.)
Staraptor - Female - Aquila (as in Eagle..)
Absol - Female - Siren (Absols appear to warn people of upcoming disasters. Sirens do that as well, hence her name.)
Ninetales - Female - Ferna (I recieved her in a trade, her 'unofficial nickname' is Cammy.)
Meganium - Male - Bliss (because I imagine a beautiful, and nice smelling pokemon with you all the time is Bliss. Besides, I love the big happy smile in his sprite.)
Jolteon - Male - Shock (because he's electric and electric things give you shocks if you're not careful.)

Cheesy nicknames. But I like them.

EDIT: New nicknames for two new pokemon.

Flygon - Male - Apollo (the Greek God of music because whenever Flygon flies, people can hear his wings as if the wings are musical.)
Altaria - Male - Clouds (because he looks like clouds when he flies high in the sky.)
