You're welcome! ^_^ Okay, names for farfetch'd and poliwrath... I'll give you names for both genders.

Poliwrath (Male Names):

Rach - African: Frog (It's kind of frog-like...)
Borka - Slavic: Strong fighter
Yahto - Native American: Blue

Dooley - Celtic: Brown hero

Farfetch'd (Female Names):

Cholena - Native American: Bird
Alida - Latin: Small, winged
Serafina/Sera - Latin: Heavenly, winged angel
Sadiki - African: Believe (The opposite of 'farfetched'...)
Aira - American: Of the wind (Since it can use flying-type attacks. ^_^)

Hope there's a good one in that list! ^_^

Awesome, I decided to go with
{regice} Istas
{articuno} Hajari
{dugtrio} Nitesh
{sceptile} Xylon
{blaziken} Toshi (doesn't even know mirror move. just sounds neat)
{ludicolo} Lluvia
{crobat} Gainell
{lunatone} Qamar
{banette} Akuji (very fitting, as it's a ghost with the insomnia trait)

of course, I'll have to wait to trade Zubat and Articuno back to my fire red version for a name change, but they're all nice. thanks!

I like Moesha for Poliwrath, but I can't decide between Cholena and Aira for Farfetch'd, as I like them both . . . ah well, the Lord will guide me. :P

@ Star: Wow  another bunch of fantastic names!!
But I have to correct you (or better yout book) a little.
Herbst does not mean Soldier! It is the German word for Autumn.
The german word for Soldier would be Soldat.
(I know cause I'm living in Germany)

Thanks, _ghost_. Hmmm... I guess that error is a little odd, but I think maybe this is telling me Herbst means soldier for a name and not the meaning of the word itself... Even though it should mean autumn anyway, but I'm taking a guess. Thanks for the correction.

Papersun, I like both of those names too! Perhaps you should flip a coin to decide? XD

I thought of a new type of nickname, and I think that you'll like 'em!

So here a few examples;

Na'ven-maybe for a mystical poke, e.g. togepi

Tel'mar-rock, because it sounds strong

Tel'k (or Tea'lk, you know that black guy [I hope I'm not being racsist] off of Stargate, that has that worm thing inside him, and, I think, is of the same religon as Apophis [I'm really not sure])

Gu'yr-maybe grass?

Phi'qo-good for a water/normal type

Kna'ga-good for a ghost type poke

Those are just a few, but I like the idea, and I hope you will to. :D

I gave names to all my guys on my thief team. There are four of them.

Magby/Magmar = [Dick] Dastardly (the "Dick" doesn't fit)
Poochyena = Muttly
Shroomish/Breloom (w/False Swipe + Spore) = Boba Fett
Zigzagoon = Pockets (named after a rogue from my old Bard's Tale game)

It censored it! It's the name of a Hanna-Barbara character, but it's censored! Oh man, that's hilarious. That's really good...

What's the name supposed to be? Maybe put space marks in between the letters so it won't censore it...

I can take one guess what that name would be. What's a for letter word that would be censored and also is a name? I'll give you a hint it begins with a 'd' and ends with a 'k'... I think I actually remember that character too. ^_^;

As for your charizard here's a few names to chose from... Since I don't know the gender, I'll just give you names for both. ^_^

Male names:

Drake - English: Dragon
Long - Chinese: Dragon
Ryu - Japanese: Dragon
Suoh - Japanese: Dragon
Paytah - Native American: Fire
Hakan - Native American: Fire

Female names:

Kaida - Japanese: Little dragon
Pyralis - Greek: Of fire
Nuria - Hebrew: God's fire
Enya - Celtic: Little fire
Kaori - Japanese: Strong
Naja - African: Stoic and strong

Hope there's something you like in that bunch! ^_^

Sceptile:

Kozue - Japanese: Tree branches
Oren - Hebrew: A tree

Zapdos:

Barak - Hebrew: Lightning
Tyrell - African-American: Thunder ruler
Donar - Scandinavian: God of thunder
Pillan - Native American: God of stormy weather
Xanthus - Greek: Yellow
Jalen - American: Bird of light

Dragonite:

Thetis - Greek: Mythical creature
Knoton - Native American: Wind (It can fly...)
Edan - Celtic: Full of fire (If it knows a fire move...)
Thor - Scandinavian: Thunder (If it knows a thunder type attack...)
Tuyet - Vietnamese: Snow (If it knows an ice type attack...)

Salamence:

Kinfe - African: Wing
Fordon - English: To destroy
Hashim - Arabic: Destroyer
Devlin - Celtic: Brave; fierce
Yahto - Native American: Blue
Khalon - African-American: Strong warrior

Hopefully there's something you like... -_-; The names that mean dragon could also work for Dragonite and Salamence... and some of the names could work for other pokemon... or whatever you want to do. ^_^

Star (or any other Nicknamer), could you give me a nickname for an Arcanine? (I'm not sure if it's male or female yet, it hasn't hatched.) And a Jolteon, too. (I'm not sure about this one either.)
