| Post subject: | Why on Earth are Blaziken & Flygon So Popular? |
A simple question, yet I know I'll get various answers, but anyway, our beloved Fire-Fighting Chicken Pokemon seems to be extremely popular...too popular. It wins Immunity in the "Pokemon Elmination Challenge" I'm doing 7-10 times, so far. A lot of members here have thier names after it (Blaziken386, I_Love_Blaziken, Blazikid, No offense towards any of them). But seriuosly, why do som many people LIKE him? Same thing goes for the only Ground-Dragon in the game (Besides Vibrava). Again, in the "Pokemon Elimination Challenge" (The 2nd one), Flygon always seems to do extremely well. Again, several members are named after it (Flygon_Rider, ShadowFlygon, black_flygon, again, No offense to any of them). But once again, why do people like him? I really hope at least one of you can answer this question. Thank you. |

plus...SOME ppl seem to get their usernames from a bunch of others, then they just mix 'em around....plus SF and me (BF) are the original flygon's, he was 2-4 members away from me...you can check out in list (page 12).... |

I like Blaziken because for years I had been looking for a favorite pokemon, then the Hoenn generation came along, and I saw Blaziken, and I instantly knew it was what I was looking for! And tiger10x, my sister loves the eevolutions, and I like them too |

wells, s_s, trhats about to change. in popular pokemon eliminatoin challenge, blaziken's about to get booted out. and umbreon will get immunity. yay! i  -lutely h8 blaziken. flygons cool, but not one of my favs.

Most likely because the fact that they are one-of-a-kind, I'm not entirely sure why these are more popular then others, but I guess it's mainly the fact that they look cool. Or maybe they are just good type combos. Why is Pikachu so popular? Why did they pick him instead of some other pokemon to be ashes Golem killing electric pokemon? (refer to Mewtwo Strikes Back). You see, it's just peoples opinion, I personally don't really like Flygon, but I DO like Blaziken. It's just a matter of taste, just more people like Flygon and Blaziken. ~Sinatu |

Yeah well why do people like the undead so much, I mean with usernames like Undeadcutlet and... others. Also Leona pretty much summed it up, Blaziken is one ugly little thing IMO. And Flygon... meh. Also I bet there are loads of people that like Sneasels, just not that many come to this site or are active in this site. |

Why I like Blaziken:
Well, I like Blaziken firstly because he's one of his kind (besides Combusken). Fire / Fighting is an interesting combo, though I'm still expecting a Fire / Psychic... I like Blaziken because he's humanshape (that's actually one of the most popular reasons for disliking him, I noticed amoung trainers....). Few pok |

If Flygon was a Bug I would love it so much! A Bug/Dragon would be increadible. A Bug with a good attack & Earthquake & levitate. *drools* But Like a Bug/Psychic it will never happen. |

I can see your reasons for liking him, Galar, but he's wearing flare pants for Mustafa's sake! Also he reminds me of a digimon, and I have nothing against digimon I'd just prefer some originality. |

But a lot of people like them, you can tell by all the Blaziken and Flygon usernames... which S_S already said. Though you are not the only person who doesn't like Blaziken, as I have already said I hate the guy. But I don't mind Flygon, though when I saw that he was dragon/ground I was like "What the? Must be a typo!" Flygon should definitely be dragon/bug. |

i think that the only reason people like blaziken is because it is a fire type, i mean fire types are HUGELY popular, personally i prefer water types, and i like flygon, it looks well cool, when my trapinch evolved into vibrava i was like what the **?**!!!!$$*, i think that dragon and ground suits flygon perfectly. |

Now if I could just get some opinions from the members I mentioned in the first post of this thread, I think we'd be one big step closer to findgin out the mystery of the enormous popularity of Blaziken and Flygon. Now don't get me wrong, all your opinions were fine as well, I just need to "crack a fw more eggs", so to speak. ...I'm trying to fighure if that metaphor made any since whatsoever. Anyway, Peace Out! EDIT: Now I really need a reason. As soon as Blaziken gets voted off my challenge, a brand new one titled "Starter Elimination Challenge" comes along, started by Bashaamo, in what my opinion is a desperate attempt to get Blaziken to win. And the funny thing is, it probably will, seeing as how as soon as he starts a round, the Blaziken likers (The ones I mentioned earlier, and more) will all immediately vote, usually in a span in under 25 minutes, if even that. |
