| Post subject: | Pokemon War??? |
I want to start by saying this post is a lot more hazy then my last one because I don't have to many details on this subject. In the Red, Blue, and Yellow series when you talk to Lt. Surge he says something about being in a war a very long time ago. Moreover my question is, what do you think occured during this war? I think this a very interesting topic and I hope someone has some interesting thoughts to go along with it. |

I think it's the Iraq or Afghanistan War. Considering he's American, middle-aged and mentions planes, it's probably that. Also, Pokemon does have some futuristic elements to it, so it's all the more likely he's a veteran from that, and also, he seems about 30-40 years old, any many soldiers are young adults. |

Where are you getting your info from? Lt. Surge is from RBY. RBY was made in 1995ish. Common entry level math tells us that was BEFORE 9/11/2001. And the game never mentions where he is from anyways. Unless you mean the Afghanistan War from the 80s, then, meh, probably. However, it might not have been any war because electric pokemon saved him in a pokemon war, not a real war. |
