I was having a quick run through of HG/SS just now, and I crossed those bridges on the way to Victory Road with a Dugtrio in tow. And it got me thinking, how does a Diglett/Dugtrio cross a bridge? And, of course, that got me thinking about other such oddities in Pokemon games; like how you're supposed to balance on a Horsea's head as it surfs across large expanses of water.

Are there any aspects of the games that you find to be a little... Odd?

The stock actions for Pokémon following you in HG/SS are fulla this kind of thing

"Your Gastly suddenly hugged you!"
Did she now.

Then there's this comic and this comic (language warning) and stuff like Wooper learning Ice Punch and Lickitung originally not learning Lick and fish Pokémon being able to battle on land and the move Earthquake working when you're on a boat and

Gah whatever

When you get Brock down to his last Pokemon in HGSS (I think, when you first battle him) he pops up and says: "Ha ha! It's itching! It's itching!"

I don't think anything else needs to be said there...

Embarrassment can cause real, unstoppable itchiness sometimes. I get the impression he's just embarrassed about losing.

I wonder how most fire types (Like Slugma) walk through grass without burning it all down.

This has probably been mentioned before, and I'll probably get beaten down for even being so stupid as to mention it, but what's going on with Thundershock/Thunderbolt/Thunder? Thunder is just sound. I understand that you could have a shock wave from the thunder, but a bolt? And the animation for the moves are clearly bolts of lightning. I just thought it was weird!

To anyone who watches smosh on youtube, you'll no what I mean when I say that they address the issue of fly in pokemon in real life 2. Espescially because charizard can't learn fly, but pidgey can.

It could. Click on azul's link and then click RBY on the right. Scroll down and it says fly.

That's odd. When I played on Blue, you couldnt teach Charizard Fly.

Charizard was able to learn Fly starting in Yellow version, and onward.
Move along people.
