Nothin new to really report:

caught a diglett lvl 19, currently training it to take on Lt. Surge.

My team is the same the same except jackrat/rattata was boxed and replaced by-

moleman/diglett lvl 23

Because of the large amount of traffic overteh weekend, I ve got anothe big post.

Caught-
Mindfeeder/Drowzee route 11 lvl 11

Evolved
moleman/diglet evolved into dugtrio.
Mindreader/abra evolved into kadabra.

Beat my rival on the S.S. Anne, no deaths. Got Hm 1: cut.
BEat Lt.surges Gym, Moleman handed them deafet on a silver platter, no deaths.
Went to rock tunnel, once at the poke center there, remembered that I didn't have flash.
Went back to vermillion city and went through digglets cave with poisonzila/nidorino out in front, still no deaths.
Got to Pewter city and went to route 2 to get Flash.
Currently in Pewter citygetin ready for the trip back through diglets cave.

Current team:

Voltmaster/pikachu lvl 25
Raptor2/pigeotto lvl 24
Jackrat/rattata lvl 5 (knows cut)

Alright, I gave my alive and unboxed pokes nicknames thanks to the name rater. Working my way to Celadon City.

Screech(golbat): lv. 27
Ohms(pikachu): lv. 26
Venus(weepinbell): Lv. 25
Houdini(Drowzee): Lv. 25
Leonardo(Wartortle): Lv. 28

Gonna grind my team to lv. 28-30 and then challenge Erika.

Had to catch pokeball(voltorb(lv. 14)) to use flash and is now boxed.
Also boxed:
Rattata: lv. 9
Pidgey: lv. 7

EDIT:
Ohms got KO'd by a grimer en-route to Celadon;
Houdini evolved into hypno, yay!!!
and just got an eevee which I don't know what to do about it (pal park most likely unless advice says otherwise)

hmm. . . reading all these posts makes me consider trying the challenge too. i think i restarted my pearl a while back and made like no progress due to laziness so i might try there

sorry for the double post (nobody made any posts after mine :/) but here's my progress

i've just made it to jubilife city. my team is as follows:

Starlight (level 3 Starly)
Doofy (level 6 Bidoof)
Firefist (level 6 Chimchar)
theres also a level 3 Shinx in my PC cuz i dont want to use it

unfortunately, my team suffered a casualty. within 5 minutes of catching my 1st starly, it died
Flappy (level 3 Starly) murdured by a Wild Bidoof's Tackle. I was sure that Flappy could kill it, but the Bidoof caught me by surprise :(

Finially got to restart my soulsilver i am doing a single catch challenge where i will only catch one pokemon of the species and if they die no more of that pokemon EVER
I have already beat falkner and am grinding before i get to azelia my team so far (these are going to be planned nicknames forgot to nickname)

UPDATE: i have added a new member to my party woot!!!!!!. really its a hoothoot i named woot!!!!!! to comemorate my first catch and i already had a close call with him and pioson down to 3 health when i got to nurse joy.
woot!!!!!!-hoothoot-lv6-caught route 31 level 3.
i have also decided to use items if and only if it is a matter of life or death for my pokemon and never in battle.

Catch first Pokemon on each route
Faint = Death and the only item i'm allowed to buy is pokeballs

i decided to catch an unown before i tried to fight falkner and wouldnt you know it the one i caught is

{unown a}nubis-lv12-hidden power rock im pretty sure. its strong against pidgey and weedle and the only one they have incomon is rock. perfect for falkner

UPDATE
wow i thought falkner would be alot stronger then a level 7 and level 9. Osirus murdered them both in one hit that was fun didnt even have to use {unown a}nubis, levels updated above.

also aquired togepi egg and got REALLY lucky on route 32. i made it almost all the way through it all the way to the great ball near the bottom and then the next step GASP the rare bellsprout appeared at 9:30PM instead of a hoothoot. i now have a level 6 bellsprout i was going to name roots but accidentally skipped over the nickname will name at name rater.

so far i've gotten 2 badges and beat team galactic in floaroma own and eterna city revived a cranidos- spear.

nooooo, soon after ISIS the togepi hatched from its egg it went BOOM. whats with togepis metranomes and selfdestruct. now i have to resort to the soon to be named roots.

my team has taken a toll gastly died from a critical hit and murkrow died in the battle against bugsy with a critical uturn magnemite then proved his worth by decimating the rest of the team i beat bugsy but am just training to battle my rival

Ok, so I finally got through rock tunnel without any deaths. Beat Ericka with raptor2. I am now currently in the rocker hide out in Celadon City.

I haven't played in a while but I'm not doing too bad.

Absolutely STEAMROLLED Erika with my houdini(hypno)/screech(golbat) combo, neither got more than 5 HP damage total.
I got an eevee from the karate dude @ lv. 25, Named it Sanoma(for the sanoma valley, Cali racetrack otherwise known as infineon) and have no clue what to do with it whatsoever. Prob will be pal parked into my HG game.

all four pokes are at Lv. 29 and I am currently gambling at the game center to get a few TM's, items, and pokes to be traded into my HG game. Giovanni's gonna get butt-raped...

I've decided to try this on my LeafGreen after reading the comic through to season 2, page... 2, I think? Maybe 3. Anyways...
I'm only following the top two rules, as this is my first ever "challenge" file.
Sooo... Let's meet the cast:

Chad- Player character. No Gym Badges... yet.
BOKCHOI- Chad's rival. He is named after the antagonist from the Nigahiga movie Ninja Melk. I believe Bokchoi is a kind of Chinese food, possibly a sausage of some sort.
Sprout/Bulbasaur LV9 (M): Chad's starter Pokemon. His greatest asset is Leech Seed.
Rachel/Rattata LV8 (F): My first catch. :) She strikes first, fast and fierce.
Ewen/Metapod LV8 (M): My second catch. He's weak now, but come LV10 he shall bloom...

No one has died yet. Except that Mankey Sprout KO'd. I was gonna name him Roro, after the new Berserker from Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem. I guess Sprout just wanted a girlfriend, 'cause he was just fine with Rachel. But I don't think she's interested; he does have a huge plant bulb on his back, after all...

EDIT: ...or not. Just remembered I had other plans for that file, so my challenge is discontinued. Oh, well...

alright, so right now i'm in the eterna forest. i just swept roark's entire gym with OHKOs using Roselia :D! my party has:

Starlight- level 17 Staravia
Roselia- level 17 Roselia (will rename when i find nicknamer)
Firefist- level 17 Monferno
Sparky- level 18 Luxio
Doofy- level 7 Bidoof
Zubat- level 8 Zubat

doofy and zubat will be HM slaves. i've got more pokemon, but i dont remember them all and i haven't been to the PC in a while.

I caught a cubone! the first encounter for me in the Lavender Tower was a cubone (male @lv. 17)!
