okay so I have a question how does a pokemon standing on the ground not jumping or anything avoid an earthquake I don't see how that's possible and moves like blizzard unless the pokemon is moving to another area completely away blizzard should not miss considering its an area type thing so watcha got for me?

Well actually in the anime you learn that Blizzard is simply like the spray function on a spray bottle of say windex...so no Blizzard isn't how it appears in the game, with amazing range & all...the Earthquake thing does bring a good point though...

The only Pokemon able to avoid EQ without special circumstances aren't standing on the ground. They're flying. Those special circumstances redirect the quake along a different fault line so that when the quake reaches the Pokemon, it's too dissipated to damage it. Problem solved.

I don't see how that can make my Salamence miss an Umbreon after it's used Double Team

Double Team does raise a pokemon's evasion, so maybe it's just that extra "oomph" they need to jump away and avoid it.

Yeah true, that being said however, I actually hate it when 1 Double Team is enough for a pokemon to evade a 100% accurancy attack & I mean it is always like this sometimes, that is flat out unfair no matter now you look at it...

If you see in the show, Earthquake isn't actually an earthquake, it's more of a localized shifting in the ground near the feet of the target.

You ever feel like you cant land a shot while they hit u with ohko moves every turn

Beyond that yea i dont get whhy they had the extra line of text saying .....avoided the attack, just say the attack missed
moves i have seen evaded
