Post subject: | Re: Personal Elite 4/Champion Thread (even for 5th Gen) |
So, I caught this link in Lawence Codye's signature and read it through. I got really into the idea of creating your own Elite 4/Champion after seeing them all here. Below is my dream Elite 4 and Champion. I tried my best to make them as challenging as possible through strategy and number crunching (At least as far as my understanding of the game mechanics and personal choice of strategy goes). If I ever had the chance I'd love to fight these 5 at the end of my game. Elite 4 - 1st Battle Name: Verna Gender: Female Type: Normal Strategy: Mildly defensive and offensive in the beginning, attempts to flinch-lock midway and becomes aggresive at the end. Bio: She's a bit older, around her late 20's, with a bed-head hairstyle and brown hair and hazel eyes. Her outfit is a bit plain to represent the type of Poke'Mon she likes. Aftermath: $7, 250 Poke'Mon Team: 1 N/A Porygon-Z Lv.75 Moveset Tri Attack Double Team Nasty Plot Signal Beam Ablity: Download Item: Leftovers EV: Sp.Atk, Sp.Def 2 Female Blissey Lv.77 Moveset Softboiled Toxic Refresh Double Team Ablity: Serene Grace Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 3 Male Dunsparce Lv.76 Moveset Headbutt Ability Bite Double Team Ablity: Serene Grace Item: King's Rock EV: Def, Sp.Def 4 Male Lickilicky Lv.77 Moveset Amnesia Curse Giga Impact Power Whip Ablity: Own Tempo Item: Leftovers EV: Hp, Atk 5 Male Snorlax Lv.78 Moveset Amnesia Curse Gunk Shot Giga Impact Ablity: Immunity Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 6 Female Exploud Lv.76 Moveset Hyper Voice Extrasensory Substitute Double Team Ablity: Soundproof Item: Lax Incense EV: Speed, Sp.Atk Elite 4 - 2nd Battle Name: Randall Gender: Male Type: Ice Strategy: Randall relies more so on defense than offense, using hail to employ dodgy maneuvers. Lapras is his biggest staller and he'll attempt to drain the opponents Poke'Mons power points before relying on Abonasnow in the end. Bio: Randall is much younger than Verna, being that of his late teens and is a bit nervous, having had such a hard time getting to where he is due to his choice in Poke'Mon type. (Ice having so many weaknesses left him with a lot of issues with his Glaceon early in his career) He wears a feint blue and black outfit and has white hair and blue eyes to reflect his choice in Poke'mon. Aftermath: $8, 750 Poke'Mon Team: 1 Female Glaceon Lv.77 Moveset Ice Beam Double Team Hyper Beam Hail Ablity: Snow Cloak Item: Lax Incense EV: Def, Sp.Atk 2 Female Lapras Lv.80 Moveset Calm Mind Curse Surf Avalanche Ablity: Shell Armor Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 3 Female Jynx Lv.78 Moveset Calm Mind Ice Beam Double Team Psychic Ablity: Oblivious Item: Wise Glasses EV: Sp.Atk, Sp.Def 4 Male Mamoswine Lv.79 Moveset Hail Double Team Ice Fang Earthquake Ablity: Snow Cloak Item: Lax Incense EV: Atk, Def 5 Male Abomasnow Lv.79 Moveset Ingrain Leech Seed Giga Drain Ice Beam Ablity: Snow Warning Item: Leftovers EV: Sp.Def, Def 6 Female Froslass Lv.78 Moveset Weather Ball Hail Double Team Shadow Ball Ablity: Snow Cloak Item: Life Orb EV: Speed, Sp.Atk Elite 4 - 3rd Battle Name: Lorie Gender: Female Type: Steel Strategy: Lorie has a mid-way battle strategy. She tries to hit hard when she hits and defends when she needs to. If she notices the opponent using physical attacks, she'll take the time to buff up her defense and offense before making a counter attack. If she notices the opponent using special attacks she'll lash out immediately. Bio: Lorie is a very, very young trainer, being only around 12 or so. She choose her first Poke'Mon simply due to its appearance and followed up with her latter choices based simply on type. Her strategy is simple and straight forward, having little problems early in her career. (Mainly due to Mawiles type with all its resistances) Aftermath: $10, 250 Poke'Mon Team: 1 Female Mawile Lv.79 Moveset Super Fang Iron Head Iron Defense Swords Dance Ablity: Hyper Cutter Item: Focus Band EV: Atk, Def 2 N/A Magnezone Lv.80 Moveset Iron Defense Zap Cannon Magnet Rise Magnet Bomb Ablity: Sturdy Item: Focus Band EV: Sp.Atk, Def 3 Male Scizor Lv.80 Moveset Iron Defense Swords Dance Fury Cutter Metal Claw Ablity: Technician Item: Metronome EV: Atk, Sp.Def 4 Male Aggron Lv.81 Moveset Curse Double Edge Metal Burst Iron Defense Ablity: Rock Head Item: Passho Berry EV: Def, Atk 5 N/A Metagross Lv.82 Moveset Meteor Mash Iron Defense Zen Headbutt Protect Ablity: Clear Body Item: Leftovers EV: Atk, Def 6 Male Empoleon Lv.81 Moveset Hydro Cannon Iron Defense Aqua Ring Ice Beam Ablity: Torrent Item: Leftovers EV: Sp.Def, Sp.Atk Elite 4 - 4th Battle Name: Carl Gender: Male Type: Dragon Strategy: Carl will sometimes bolster up with a few defenses before going on the all-out offensive. Starting with Kingdra, if he thinks he can take a few hits he'll take the time to buff up his evasion; though he'll always start off with Focus Energy - the key to Kingdra's attacks. This basic strategy will flow out well with all his Poke'Mon until he's forced to use Salamence, in which case he'll always start with substitute before using any other move. If substitute is broken he'll take the time to re-use it before doing anything else. Bio: Carl is around his late teens and believes strictly that in order to be great at anything you need discipline. With discipline comes power and power demands respect. He sees no reason to not flaunt his power in order to prove his points and pretty much allows his Poke'Mon to take most battles into their own hands. Carl has short black hair and wears formal wear to show discipline. He has red eyes and black hair with purple tips. Aftermath: $11, 750 Poke'Mon Team: 1 Male Kingdra Lv.81 Moveset Focus Energy Double Team Razor Wind Outrage Ablity: Sniper Item: Scope Lens EV: Atk, Speed 2 Male Salamence Lv.84 Moveset Outrage Substitude Fly Roost Ablity: Intimidate Item: Life Orb EV: Atk, Speed 3 Male Garchomp Lv.83 Moveset Outrage Earthquake Substitute Double Team Ablity: Sandveil Item: Leftovers EV: Atk, Speed 4 Female Dragonite Lv.83 Moveset Outrage Extreme Speed Dragon Dance Substitute Ablity: Inner Focus Item: Leftovers EV: Atk, Def 5 Male Flygon Lv.82 Moveset Outrage Earthquake Substitute Double Team Ablity: Levitate Item: Leftovers EV: Atk, Speed 6 Female Altaria Lv.82 Moveset Outrage Sky Attack Mist Haze Ablity: Natural Cure Item: Lax Incense EV: Def, Sp.Def Champion Name: Geneva Gender: Female Type: PP Drain Strategy: Geneva's strategy is quite simple. She's very patience in her approach and takes her time to bolster her defensive stats and use baton pass to switch over to her next Poke'Mon. If the opponent proves very damaging she'll baton pass much sooner. Any Poke'Mon with defensive moves will start battle with those first unless the opponent uses as powerful move that has few PP, such as Giga Impact or Hyper Beam, which she'll immediately counter with a Spite attack to render it useless. Any Poke'Mon with Confuse Ray or some sort of sleep attack will start with those before bolstering defenses or spamming spite. Her strategy from there, rinse and repeat until her opponents are either dead from some lightly formed attack she has or killed themselves through struggle. Bio: Geneva is a studious girl around in her early 20's. She has glasses, long hair and carries book of some sort. She's known for reading during battles or running through her Poke'Dex on her opponents Poke'Mon during battle. She believes a cool head and patience will guide you through any problem and her choice in Poke'Mon strategy is a reflection of this. She has dark brown hair, black eyes and wears a t-shirt and skirt. Aftermath: $13, 700 Poke'Mon Team: 1 Female Absol Lv.84 Moveset Spite Curse Baton Pass Double Team Ablity: Pressure Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 2 Female Spiritomb Lv.86 Moveset Spite Confuse Ray Hypnosis Dream Eater Ablity: Pressure Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 3 Female Vespiquen Lv.86 Moveset Defend Order Heal Order Confuse Ray Toxic Ablity: Pressure Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 4 Male Aerodactyl Lv.85 Moveset Substitute Giga Impact Double Team Torment Ablity: Pressure Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 5 Female Dusknoir Lv.87 Moveset Spite Curse Confuse Ray Will-O-Wisp Ablity: Pressure Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def 6 Male Weavile Lv.85 Moveset Spite Embargo Taunt Toxic Ablity: Pressure Item: Leftovers EV: Def, Sp.Def |

Thanks! I always assumed all trainers, Gym Leaders and the Elite 4 have EV trained their Poke'Mon in some way. I don't know if this is a fact or not (I never read up on trainers or their Poke'Mon in guides, FAQS or walkthroughs) but it was always my assumption. If this is not the case, it's an easy factor to remove. Creating this also opened up some windows for me. Lapras is now one of my favorite Poke'Mon. |

Kaori Sakura wrote: Creating this also opened up some windows for me. Lapras is now one of my favorite Poke'Mon. Well tbh, making my Elite 4 gave me lots of new favorites like Camerupt, Drapion & so on, oh & your welcome & don't need to worry about the EV thing of course as it is your own ideal Elite 4/Champion so it is definitely alright... Though no CPU controlled trainer's pokemon have EVs what so ever or else they would pose too much of a threat to most of the weaker pokemon & target audience as your pokemon are generally weaker then them LV wise when you face them which should be the only challenge... |

They AI's don't have EV's in their Poke'Mon? Shame. I appreciate it, Magikarps_Beast. I put a lot of effort into it. EV's and strategy go hand in hand, but I guess it does give it a better perspective out how the AI would play out. Well, creating this opened up a lot more doors for me into realizing the diversity of abilities. I always had a good dream team of mine utilizing Baton Pass as a center strategy but that got shot down some when I realized how critical hits worked. Now that I found some Poke'Mon like Lapras that are immune to criticals, I've found a rekindled passion to create it. |

Advanced sorry for QUADRUPLE posting . I have planned this quite some time ago and I prefer to do these things in 4 posts ( not for post count) if a mod wants , feel free to disable post counts for this thread. ELITE 4 [1ST VISIT] Name : Hanto Gender : Male Type : Grass / Poison Region : Kanto Bio : Hanto is a care-free trainer who has a great love for Pokemon. He was once the lousiest trainer in the entire Trainer School and thus, had no friends since young. He was almost willing to do anything to get a friend which thus led him into getting used of. Another trainer of the School asked him to steal one of the 3 Kanto Starters , Bulbasaur ( ). However , after getting hold of it , he was quickly attacked and surrounded by a ton of Wild Pokemon. He fought without hesitation by sending out his first, and only , Pokemon , Koffing ( ). However , Koffing was quickly defeated due to the fact they were outnumbered. In a desperate attempt , Bulbasaur ( ) was unleashed. With his trusty ol' Vine Whip , he managed to quickly sweep away all the Wild ones. Since that day , Hanto has been training Bulbasaur with all his might and will , along with Koffing , and defeated several other trainers and Gym Leaders , emerging as a member of the Elite 4. He has since gained several friends on the way. He believes that " the ultimate is not needed until the desperate moment " . Or in other words " desperate times call for desperate measures ". Team : Level52 / Chlorophyll -Leech Seed -Magical Leaf -Bullet Seed -Leaf Storm Strategy : For starters , Victreebell will start off with Leech Seed , draining Health each and every single turn till defeat. The time for Victreebell to unleash his ultimate technique , Leaf Storm , has never come until the Champion arrived. Level 54 / Stench -Sludge Bomb -Toxic -Minimize -Gunk Shot Strategy : Muk ALWAYS starts the heat on with Toxic , before use Minimize so foes will have a hard time hitting him. After ever 2-3 Minimize , he throws out a Sludge Bomb , causing a lil damage , before he continues Minimizing. And to end off , his ultimate move , Gunk Shot , is used to KO foes in 1 blow. Level 54 / Chlorophyll -Giga Drain -Poison Powder -Petal Dance -Solar Beam Strategy : Giga Draining away the moment its in the Yellow Zone , or Red , while damaging the opponent and gaining health in return. Poison Powder , as usual , is the start off before using Petal Dance. If Hanto is in a rush and does not want to unleash his true potential , he ends things quick with a powerful , Solarbeam. Level 56 / Levitate -Toxic -Sludge Bomb -Smoke Screen -Explosion Strategy : Similar to that of Muk , however , the moment Hanto senses Weezing wont last much longer , and Weezing knows it , the killer move , Explosion , is never held back to cause a big lost of Health , or for the matter of fact , a KO. Level 60 / Overgrow -Razor Leaf -Sleep Powder -Vine Whip -Frenzy Plant Bio : No one in history , except the Champion,Red,Yellow, & Gold , has yet to see the power of Hanto 's Venusaur. Not even the legendary Blue , has.Hanto would rather let someone win , then show Venusaur , as he thinks that even though that trainer beat him , he only shows people who he thinks is worthy to see the power of his Venusaur which has developed intense bonds and can even fight without Hanto controlling. ( Some sort of , Telepathy) Strategy : Yes , you guessed it right , Sleep Powder starts the path of destruction. With just ONE BLOW , Frenzy Plant , the ultimate move for Grass Types , can cause a great path of destruction for anywho who gets hit by it in the face. However , it is barely used except against the Champion's Pokemon , although futile. Otherwise , Razor Leaf & Vine Whip does the trick. |

Post subject: | Re: Personal Elite 4/Champion Thread (even for 5th Gen) |
Name : Yahiko Gender : Male Type : [ HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ] - You have to watch the anime to know what I'm talking bout. Region : Kanto + Johto Bio : Was once inspired to be the Pokemon Champion , however , while passing by a small town in the Johto Region , which created the tradition of "Pokemon Wrestling" , he has since trained his Pokemon to be professional wrestlers instead. However , because of his Pokemon were already so strong and fit , this standard still maintains and he was selected to be one of the Elite 4. Team : Level 61 / Guts -Slash -Thunder Punch -Ice Punch -Hammer Arm Bio : Ursaring is a quick and heavyweight attacking machine. It is said that the furthest anyone got to was Yahiko. Many believed that the trainers who got defeated by Yahiko was due to the destructiveness of his high and mighty Ursaring. Strategy : Ursaring has no planned strategy. He just gets in the ring and fight till he gets KO'ed. Which most of the time , isnt the case , its the foe that gets KO'ed. His signature and killer move , Hammer Arm , never fails to make the foe crying back into its Pokeball. Level 62 / Rock Head -Double Edge -Rock Throw -Stone Edge -Explosion Bio : Golem was one of Yahiko's favourite Pokemon , and was normally used for the Heavyweight Cup. Golem has been seen several times with Yahiko when Yahiko visits the Mines of the Pokemon World. It is said that an Explosion from Yahiko's Golem holds 10x the power of other Golems. But of course, no one has yet to see it. Strategy : Being a Rock Head , Yahiko takes advantage of this and taught Golem Double Edge. A move that packs a punch. Double Edge is what Yahiko normally uses to KO his foes. When the time comes , a double-edge sword is used. Explosion. Level 64 / Guts -Seismic Toss -Vital Throw -Low Kick -Cross Chop Bio : Machamp was the first Pokemon of Yahiko's to join the Heavyweight Tournament. However , Machamp did not have enough brute strength and was taken down by an opponent in the 2nd round. Yahiko has sinced trained Machamp to be able to take down any Pokemon even up to 10x his weight. Yahiko's Machamp is also the only Pokemon , along with Blue's Machamp as well , to have KO'ed Red's Snorlax. Strategy : Depending on the weight of the foe , Low Kick is used. Otherwise , Seismic Toss or Vital Throw normally gets the job done. If not , Machamp unleashes a deadly atack , known as Cross Chop. Level 65 / Poison Point -Trash -Earth Power -Mega Horn -Hyper Beam Bio : Nidoking was once the hardest Pokemon for Yahiko to control. But once he controlled and tamed Nidoking's power , he is , one of the most valuable assets to Yahiko. It was said that Nidoking's outrage , with Trash , wrecked down an entire town , wiping out the entire Gym along with its trainers and leader's Pokemon , with a single Hyper Beam. Strategy : Since Trash is too risky of a move to make due to its intense damage , Yahiko relies on Earth Power and Mega Horn to settle the foes once and for all. The only trainer EVER to experience a Hyper Beam from Nidoking was the Champion. Level 66 / Torrent -Ice Fang -Slash -Agility -Hydro Pump Bio : Feraligatr was Yahiko's "starter" given to him by Prof. Elm . Feraligatr never fails to please Yahiko. Although Yahiko only uses him when his entire team is KO'ed , nobody ever gets too confident in taking this guy down. He effortlessly wiped out several trainers. Not even Grass types has a 80% chance of defeating this badass due to its trusty'ol Ice Fang + Agility Combo. Strategy : "PIKACHU! BEHIND YOU!" . YEP ! Agility kicks the match off , watch out for this lil badass cos his fond of making you all dizzy before striking you with a powerful Ice Fang or Slash from behind. His Hydro Pump has the destructive force strong enough to crush even mountains if he wills to. Which is why Yahiko barely uses Hydro Pump. After all, the need never came. |

Name: Konan Gender : Female Type : Psychic Region : It is said she has been to every Region known up to Ishuu Bio : Konan has been an orphan since she was a child. The only real "friend" she had was her partner , Ralts. The both of them have been through thick and thin and have become nearly inseparable. Konan is good friends with the 4th Elite of the Elite 4. They met while Konan was barely strong enough to even defeat the 1st Gym Leader , being the fact she only had Ralts and Ralts was still weak. She was constantly bullied by the trainers in the School but everytime the 4th Elite , Pein , showed his face , the bullies all shudder in fear. Although Konan is a strong trainer , she was originally not assigned for the 3rd spot , however , in a battle against former Elite 4 Member , Aghast , Aghast took note of her potential and deemed her worthy for the 3rd spot. Otherwise, she was nothing more then the 8th Gym Leader. Team : Level 65 / Compoundeyes -Sleep Powder -Confusion -Psychic -Gust Bio : Konan's first catch was a Caterpie who evolved into a Butterfree. Konan had a hard time training Metapod but the aftermath was all worth it. Strategy : Sleep Powder is the good start off before dealing damage. Confusion is the primary attack and if needed , Psychic is never held back. Level 66 / Synchronize -Psychic -Psybeam -Foresight -Swift Bio : Espeon was originally an Eevee gifted to Konan by Pein. She has trained it hard and it evolved into an Espeon. Espeon is pretty stubborn at times and often refuses to get in her Pokeball. She likes to get attention from Konan and loves getting treated like a real cat. Strategy : Espeon technically doesn't have much of a strategy. She normally strikes fast with Swift and deals a heavy amount of damage with Psybeam before finishing her foe off with a Psychic. Level 66 / Synchronize -Psychic -Psybeam -Fire Punch -Psycho Cut Bio : Alakazam was adopted at the Daycare by Konan while it was a Abra as it was abandoned by its trainer. Abra refused to listen to Konan but with a little patience , Abra learned to accept the care and concern of Konan. When Konan was abducted by Team Rocket , Abra evolved into a Kadabra and managed to wipe out the entire Team Rocket arsenal without commands from Konan. Kadabra demonstrated the bond of Pokemon and its Trainer to John , a Pokemon Trainer who thinks weak Pokemon are not worthy of being part of his team. Strategy : Alakazam prefers to battle freely rather then being commanded by Konan. Konan as well has learned to accept that. And obviously , Alakazam has never let her down before. Level 68 / Oblivious -Psychic -Zen Headbutt -Water Pulse -Yawn Bio : Konan was previously really mad and fustrated at how Slowbro always fails to listen to her commands and is always caught sleeping in the middle of a battle. Konan was on the verge of not keeping it in the team but Slowbro proved himself worthy by taking down an entire team of wild Bellsprouts with a single Psychic. Konan learned not to judge a book by its cover after that experience. Although Slowbro was once a lazy Pokemon, it is now one of Konan's higher ranked Pokemon. Strategy : Slowking's Yawn makes its foe sleepy just like he is and when their off guard, he strikes , hard and fast , with a Zenn Headbutt. And for Pokemon strong against Psychic , Water Pulse comes in handily. Level 69 / Synchronize -Psychic -Aerial Ace -Future Sight -Omnimous Wind Bio : Xatu is Konan's only source of Aerial Transport. It barely battles but is yet one of the strongest members of Konan's team. Although Xatu may not look much , a direct hit from its Psychic leaves even the strongest Pokemon wounded. Strategy : Xatu battles according to what it thinks is right. It normally uses Future Sight and defeats its opponent , but if needed , Konan takes charge. Level 70 / Trace -Psychic -Ice Punch -Fire Punch -Thunderbolt Bio : Gardevoir is the evolved form of Ralts. Gardevoir was trained to be able to counter almost any type that comes in its way. It is also , obviously , the strongest and the leader of Konan's arsenal. Never look lowly on this Pokemon as it is one of the strongest you'll ever face in the Elite 4. Strategy : Gardevoir battles on its own and Konan trusts it to do so. Gardevoir's killing streak has never disappointed Konan up to date. |

Name : Pein Gender : Male Type : Dragon & Fire Region : All Regions except Ishuu Bio : Pein , since young , has been a 1st-grade student even in the Trainer School. He has a passion for Fire Pokemon originally but slowly after witnessing the destructiveness of Rayquaza in the Hoenn Region , his interest for Dragon Pokemon grew , but his passion for Fire still remained. There has been no Lose records of Pein ever since he began his journey in the Kanto Region. Somewhere in the Hoenn Region , he came across a innocent girl , Konan who is now a member of the Elite 4. He treated Konan like his sister and never let her get hurt by anything. He was also the one who trained Ralts to evolve into Kirilia. He did so due to the fact he had to set out to tame Rayquaza as no other trainers had managed to. He also considered the fact that he might not ever return and gave Konan an Eevee which he trained. He managed to soothe and tame Rayquaza, but the battle left several of his Pokemon injured. He was in a coma for 8months and when he awoke, he was chosen to be the strongest , the 4th member , of the Elite 4. Although this information was kept Classified , it is now known that Pein was the first owner of a Pokedex way before even Blue was a trainer. Team : Level 72 / Flash Fire -Fire Blast -Flame Thrower -Extremespeed -Thunder Fang Bio : As a Growlithe , Arcanine was a Pokemon that belonged to his late father , which he uses to protect himself against Wild Pokemon. When Prof Oak was attacked by Rocket Grunts , Growlithe bravely battled and won the Grunts. Seeing how great teamwork both Pein and Growlithe have , he gave Pein a Charmander and a Pokedex. Arcanine is one of the only Fire Pokemon that Pein kept in his team. Strategy : A quick and fast attack , Extremespeed , never fails to hit the target first. Before the opponent even gets a chance to stand back up , a intense Flame Thrower , or if Pein thinks can resist it , a Fire Blast , is launched. The only way to survive this deadly combo is to have a Pokemon that can outspeed Arcanine. Level 73 / Intimidate -Dragon Dance -Ice Beam -Hydro Pump -Hyper Beam Bio : Gyrados was a later part of the team when Pein was a Gym Leader. Pein caught Gyrados for means of Water Transport in order to arrive at Sootopolis City to have a meeting with the Hoenn Gym Leaders and Elite 4. It was at that point that Pein realised Gyrados has potential to be a great arsenal to his collection when Gyrados bravely battled against Groudon. Strategy : Gyrados increases its attack force with Dragon Dance before unleashing a Ice Beam or Hydro Pump. Pein's Gyrados has only unleashed its Hyper Beam in a battle against the Champion , when Pein was having so much fun , he failed to remember the force of its Hyper Beam which caused a big "earthquake" in the building. Level 73 / Rock Head -Double Edge -Giga Impact -Rock Slide -Crunch Bio : Aerodactyl was revived by Pein when the Old Amber was given to him as a "friendship token" from Yahiko after being partners for so long. Aerodactyl has proven its power and is now a part of one of the strongest teams out there. Strategy : Aerodactyl takes advantage of its Rock Head ability and uses Double Edge to knock its opponent to the edge of the planet. Giga Impact is a technique that is seldom used due to its power. Rock Slide and Crunch are primary attacks for Rock Types which are strong against Double Edge's power. Level 75 / Sand Stream -Earthquake -Dragon Claw -Hyper Beam -Body Slam Bio : Although not really a dragon , Tyranitar saved Pein's Aerodactyl in a battle against Rayquaza. Due to a sense of gratitude , Pein battled Tyranitar after his awakening and caught it. Tyranitar is one of Pein's STRONGEST Pokemon to date. Strategy : Tyranitar has never listened to any of Pein's command despite Pein's ability to tame Rayquaza , he has failed to tame Tyranitar. However , in times of need , Tyranitar never fails to surprise Pein with its awesomeness. Level 77 / Inner Focus -Dragon Claw -Aqua Tail -Flame Thrower -Thunderbolt Bio : Dragonite was a Dratini that Pein won in Celadon's Casino. Pein trained it to be a strong killing machine. Dragonite has a kind nature but never make it mad. Strategy : Dragonite was trained to be able to fight against most types. Dragonite was Gardevoir (Konan)'s training partner. It was from Dragonite that Konan decided to train Gardevoir in the same way. There is no fixed strategy for Dragonite as it was trained to destroy anything in its way. Level 79 / Blaze -Flame Thrower -Blast Burn -Dragon Claw -Air Slash Bio : Charizard was one of Pein's original Pokemon as a Charmander. Charizard is Pein's strongest Pokemon with a Losing Streak of only 2. Red and the Champion. Charizard's fire power is strong enough to go against the entire Military Air Force with its Flame Thrower , it can even melt mountains. Blast Burn has proven its true potential against Rayquaza by destroying nearly the entire Sky Pillar in an Aerial Battle. Strategy : Nothing is known about Charizard's battling style. The only ones who have seen it to begin with , has refused to say anything. Please comment on which of the 4 did you like the most so I know where to improve. This is merely the 1st Elite 4. There is a 2nd Elite 4 and I need to know where I might have gone wrong. Thanks . The Champion is coming soon. |

@ zPIRATED = It's fine to put them all in separate posts, it just looks neater that way & others have done it already as well...that being said, my favorite of your Elite 4 is Yahiko as his theme is the best & his team is more diverse in typing which I always like more but Pein is my least favorite but only slightly as I have a distaste for the Dragon Type as most of them are typical & expected at best & most of them are also legendaries though yours don't have that many actual Dragon Types which is kind of like Lance which is cool... |

My favorite out of your Elite 4 is Hanto, simply due to type. I love the poison type and grass Poke'Mon just always rubbed off on me nicely. My least favorite would have to be Pein, also for type reasons. Solely because his type is set to Dragon and Fire and he only has 2 fire Poke'Mon and 1 Dragon Poke'Mon, also, not only are 3 of the Poke'Mon not Dragon or Fire types, they also don't have any Dragon or Fire type moves. That's just me being nit-picky but it is also my honest opinion. |

I like Pein for three reasons. 1. I like Fire Type and Dragon Type Pokemon in general. 2. I liked how he put moves that helped him to go past his weaknesses. 3. and aren't Dragon Type Pokemon, but are part of Lance's team, and I like them anyway. Some things to improve on... 1. is mainly a physical Pokemon. How about Waterfall instead of Hydro Pump, and Ice Fang instead of Ice Beam? 2. How about Stone Edge or Rock Slide instead of Body Slam for ? 3. I'd personally use an that has Wing Attack for several reasons. -It's a STAB move. -It has decent power. -As is assumed to have been rarely seen, you need a flying move to get past Fighting Pokemon. -Have know Outrage, Dragon Rush, Extremespeed, or Wing Attack/Aerial Ace instead of Aqua Tail, as three out of four are STAB, and the other is a good priority move that can be used as a last attempt at winning if necessary. Overall, I loved your Gym Leaders. I have yet to think of mine (if LC will let me) |

@Lawence Codye : The reason he has Gyrados and Aerodactyl were basically in the storyline for Surf ( Did not include cos in Pokemon , surf is not needed) and Aero cos it was a gift to him. And yeah , dragon teams are pretty standard and easy to predict @Kaori Sakura : [ DAM I LOVE YOUR NAME , ITS DARN EASY TO MEMORISE ] Haha , I do things from the view of ANIME not GAME. Laughs. So of course they dont have dragon or fire moves. It seems kinda weird. I originally planned for Gyara and Aero to have Dragon Rage & Fire Blast respectively. But I wanted them to focus more on what they are and not just limit them to what they should be. @torchie13125 : Like I mentioned above, I do things based of an Anime view. Having Gyara do phsyical moves seems kinda weird imo. Cos from the time I first saw it in Mewtwo strikes back , Gyara was a heavy user of Hydro Pump & Hyper Beam, so I wanted to keep the tradition going. And I'll take that Aero tip in mind Isn't Air Slash a flying move? Cos I sure thought it was Honestly I forgotten why Aqua tail was in it.. I think its for Rock Pokemon but heh. |

Post subject: | Re: Personal Elite 4/Champion Thread (even for 5th Gen) |
The last and final member of the Elites has been revealed.... I have changed the format and there will be no strategy involved as the Champion goes with whatever he thinks is right for his Pokemon. Name : Ken Gender : Male Type : Nothing Specific Region : Origins from Sinnoh , however has travelled across the other regions as well. Bio : Ken started his journey at the Sinnoh Region. His father was a Gym Leader. The 8th. And since young, has aspired to be like him. His father went to Spear Pillar to capture Arceus. However , he never returned... When Ken heard about his missing father, he swore that he will grow up stronger and better then his father, with the goal of capturing Arceus in the next leap year. He was trained under former Elite 4 member , Bruno. A Pokemon who his father has given him , Chimchar , along with a Pokemon he has grown up with at home , Sneasel , he sets out after 6months at Bruno's. Without a doubt he has obtained all Badges but was quickly defeated by a mysterious trainer outside the Pokemon League's entrance. The trainer asks him to quit as a trainer as his Pokemon was all pathetic and worthless. Being the first loss he has ever gotten , he was devastated and refused to go challenge the Elite 4. But with a bit of support from his friends and family, he faced them. The Elite 4. He breezed through the Elites but none of his Pokemon made it out unscathed. Some of them were even KO'ed. But without a doubt , he made it to Champion. He was shocked to see the same trainer in the black hood telling him to get out of the way as Ken was not even able to beat him with a healthy team , much less a weakened team. But Ken surprised him. After his first lost , Ken returned to Bruno. However Bruno refused to help Ken as his Pokemon has the abilities to overpower even himself. Infernape proven his power by taking down almost the entire team alone. But the final deal was in his face , the former Champion's trump card. Slacking. He was defeated with a single Focus Punch... After the battle , the trainer revealed himself. It was no other.. it was Ken's father. Although Ken lost , he managed to force his dad to bring out Slacking. His father deemed him to take the spot of Champion and told him that he managed to capture Arceus with the help of the Elite 4 and Legendary trainers Red,Blue,Yellow & Gold. Ken was happy to see his father again and was crowned the new , Champion. Team : Level 81 / Keen Eye -Ice Beam -Metal Claw -Shadow Ball -Agility Bio : One of Ken's early Pokemon. Sneasel has watched Ken grow up and is one of the Pokemon trained under Bruno. Sneasel was once seen battling against Red's Snorlax and Venusaur knocking out both of them with his immense speed and power. Shadow Ball and Ice Beam was seen when Ken was at the Slowpoke Well in Johto while battling Rocket Grunts. Ice Beam was also used to do some intense damage on Red's Venusaur. Level 83 / Water Absorb -Ice Beam -Body Slam -Brine -Hydro Pump Bio : Lapras was caught in an attempt to save it from the attack of the Cloyster Gang. Lapras was originally not part of Ken's team but when Ken was left stranded on an island with his fainted Honchkrow after being swept over the ocean when a sudden tidal wave submerged the entire Maiden's Island. Lapras was the only source of transport Ken had at that time and used it to cross the sea. Lapras and Ken developed great friendship and is now the Water Pokemon Ken uses for Sea transport. Level 85 / Motor Drive -Thunder Punch -Thunderbolt -Light Screen -Giga Impact Bio : Electivire was an Electabuzz Ken used when he was batling against Pastoria Gym's Leader. Electabuzz has demonstrated intensive amount of voltage energy by winning Red's Pikachu in a 1on1 battle. His signature move to start every battle his against on with a Light Screen. As seen when he was against Red's Snorlax , Giga Impact KO'ed Snorlax before Snorlax had enough time to charge his Hyper Beam. Level 86 / Swarm -Metal Claw -X-Scissor -Night Slash -Sword Dance Bio : One of the newest members to Ken. As a Scyther , Ken caught at the Safari Zone. He has been using it to go up against the Pokemon League. He has proven his self worthy to be in Ken's team when he managed to defeat Blue's Scizor & Machamp. Scizor has not yet lost to a Pokemon up to date. Level 89 / Blaze -Close Combat -Thunderpunch -Flamethrower -Flare Blitz Bio : One of Ken's original Pokemon given to him by his father. Infernape was one of the toughest Pokemon in history to have defeated up to 5 of his father's Pokemon alone. In a father-son match , Ken's Infernape managed to end a match with Slacking with a tie. Although it was hard, Ken manage to teach it Thunderpunch to counter of any water Pokemon who thinks they can take down Infernape. -It is said that Ken has one final Pokemon that he has not yet shown. It is kept unknown. Rumours has it that the last Pokemon is not shown yet because of its overwhelming power- |
