Post subject:  My Magcargo Evolution.
Over the last few days I started to think of how much Heatran resembles the magcargo evolution line.

{slugma} - {magcargo} - {heatran}


Thoughts? Any other pokemon that resemble each other?

Well, it's not as dumb as the {togepi} - {togetic} - {togekiss} - {lugia} theory.

Similar Pokemon? I'd have to say I never thought of the Heatran evolution, but must say that when I saw Hippopotas, Numel came to mind. :P

I think that theory actually makes a lot of sense. Look at it this way.

Togepi has nothing to do with Lugia, but when it evolves to togetic its similarities are a three-pronged spiked head, wings, legs, and having blue on the body. Togekiss has pretty much the same similarities, except the legs and the fact that it now doesn't have hands, making it equally as likely as Togetic. If you were to take all of the red pieces on Togetic and make them blue and mash them together in a circle on his stomach it would make perfect sense. Also, {flaaffy} -> {ampharos} makes less sense than the Lugia theory. {ampharos} doesn't even look like a sheep. Same with {lombre} -> {ludicolo} Theres almost no resmblence. So give the kid who made up the theory a break.

This may be unrelated, but I always used to wonder what was underneath {cubone}'s mask. So much so in fact that I had a electronicly controlled Cubone, which I broke to see what his face looked like. You know what I saw? Nothing pretty much.
