I have only beaten Steven consecutivly. I have gone through the elite four in SoulSilver and Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald only. However, I have studied the other champions, and still my favorite is Steven.
I have always loved Steven

I say my favorite of the champions is; Most favorite; 1. Cynthia = I pick her not because of her gender but because out of all the Champions...I enjoyed battling her the most & because you see her in her respective game in more areas then the other champions besides Blue...plus she has the best outfit I have seen a champion wear with Steven coming in 2nd... 2. Blue = Because he was actually alot more difficult to take down due to diversity among his team...& he became a very difficult gym leader afterwards instead of him only being a champion... Least favorite; 1. Lance = I'm not a fan of capes or Dragon pokemon & even without either he looks kind of super hero like which I hate... 2. Steven = I actually was going to pick Steven but no...no, he has too many pokemon having the same type...though they made a better team then Lance's did to me...meh... 3. Wallace = I like Wallace the Gym Leader but not Wallace the Champion...why, well he has all Water Type pokemon, was better off a Gym Leader because of this & also because of this is clearly the easiest champion to beat considering that water pokemon have no decent variety of Type Combos as far as his team goes anyway...except for Kingdra & I guess Whiscash maybe...His attire is awesone however... |

Cynthia is definitely my favourite, as not only is she fashionable, she is also knowledgable and kind, without being too over-bearing. What really gets me though is her team (from platinum anyway) which exemplifies mystique, beauty, elegance, kindness, style, and power all in one team while still being powerful and diverse in terms of type. Blue's team in rby, while diverse, sucked. Or I guess that's just me, since I only had yellow. His exeggutor had barrage, leech seed, and stomp, just as an example. |

In terms of the person themselves, I'd say Blue. Finally owning your jerk of a rival for the fate of winning the game was just awesome beyond words, and his music just makes it even more epic. In terms of their teams, Cynthia in Platinum was the best and the most fun to fight. |

Personally Steven, he gave me a ghard time w/o making me have to cpmletely restart my E4 challenge after training all my pokemon up, Blue was insane, even with equally trained pokemon... (shudders) |
