Serebii just confirmed this a few days ago. That GameStops across America will be doing the Pikachu Colored Pichu from the following dates January 30th to February 14th. I feel this is awesome. What do you guys think? Also they have confirmed the Edge of Night Sky Jirachi will be done at GameStop as well, with unconfirmed dates.

The Pichu will be for Diamond Pearl and Platinum to be transferred over to HG/SS, I don't know about the Jirachi as of this time.

There are rumors Jirachi will be in early February, so it would be impossible for HG/SS to get it, unless they repeat it over Wi-Fi or something.

I am on edge hearing that they will have a Jirachi Event at Gamestop...just overjoyed. The Pichu event however I am also doing without question since I got 2 Gamestops I can go to & one of them I know will be doing the event. Can't wait for Jirachi...

Yes it is...it activates an ingame Event at a certain point in the adventure featuring the Pichu that was in the Arceus pokemon film. Which you later obtain after it is over...

I don't know but you should probably check ASAP in the case that there is a GameStop in Canada...also, I got mine today & for all your DS pokemon carts you can download 1 Pichu so bring all your games & you can pretty much stand outside the store & do it or do it inside & you don't have to even so much as say hello to the attendents there. Btw, I also almost pre-ordered Soul Silver paid in full at the same time in all store credit...oh I also recommend people pre-order HGSS as well.
