I've always wondered: Why can Meowth talk? I mean, why can't others talk? |

For some reason I think I saw an episode which explained it, but I haven't watched it in years and I have forgotten. |

He was trying to impress a female Meowth, but she wouldn't have anything to do with him. So, he learned to walk, talk, and act like a human. He got that idea from her owner, who she liked more than Meowth. After going through all the trouble of learning the ways of a human, she STILL rejected him. So, he joined Team Rocket. He got another chance to impress her, because he returned to Hollywood with Jessie and James and by that time she was abandoned by her "loyal" human friend, and she was running around with Persian - Meowth's old gang leader. Meowth and Persian fought, Meowth won, but the female stayed with Persian because he took her in when she needed him.
