Post subject:  Your first pokemon teams ever made.
Alot of us are all advanced players, with a great understanding of the way the game works. But we didn't all start that way, am I right?

I'm curious to see what the very first teams where that you, the people of PsyPoke, made when you were introduced to the world of Pokemon gaming.

I don't remember my first very well, as I was really young, but I will tell what I can recall. This was my team back when I first got Pokemon Blue

{blastoise}
Moves: Hydro Pump, Surf, Skull bash, ?????

{mewtwo}
Moves: Psychic, Swift, Barrier, Recover

{pidgeot}
Moves: Fly (dont remember the rest)

Anyone else wanna share?

Mine where in crystal and they are {typhlosion} {poliwrath} and {pidgeot} I cant remember the others.

Hey we both had pigeots thats kinda funny!

{butterfree} , {pikachu} , {pidgeot} , {charizard} , {blastoise} , {venusaur}

As you can probably guess my first game was Yellow Version. And wow, Pidgeot seems to be dominating.

I can't really remember my first team but I remember a few...

First team ever (red version).

Something along the lines of : {venusaur} {gengar} {jolteon} {pidgeot}

The rest is a blur...

Anyway, My first team was something like this;

Venusaur, Pidgeot, Vaporeon, Graveler, Nidoking, Articuno

not sure on anything after Vaporeon but pretty much my best guess...

That was back before I was smart enough to realize that I had two Flying-types on my team and was thus wasting a slot.

BTW, I still have this team preserved to this day. After my cousin gave me his completed copy of Silver that I didn't really want because I had Gold, I borrowed his Game Boy and traded that team over to Silver where they still lie today, now at Lv. 100 even.

Way back when, when I received pokemon yellow for my birthday, I had to share it with my sister. So.....since there's only one file on a pokemon game, she had the bright idea of using a walkthrough that actually tells you which pokemon to get and what moves to teach them, so I have NO clue. My first real team was on crystal, which was;

{typhlosion} Swift, Earthquake, Flamethrower, Fire Blast
{crobat} Fly, Steel wing, Toxic, Giga Drain
{alakazam} Psychic. Flash, Recover, Thunder Punch
{sneasel} Ice Beam, Faint Attack, Surf, Metal Claw (really messed up this one}
{houndoom} Flamethrower, Crunch, Faint Attack, Roar
( {tyranitar} Rock Slide, Earthquake, Crunch, Flamethrower<-random filler move
or
{marowak} -Thick Club Bonemerang, Return, Focus Energy, ????)

Guess I should list my first Gen 2 Team(it was on Gold) here as well;

Typhlosion / Pidgeot / Espeon / Ho-oh / Gyarados / Graveler

I am not sure about anything after Ho-oh but everything else was a sure thing...

My first team on red was this below. No idea what the movesets were, obviously charizard had fly and tenta had surf, but outside of that, it was too long ago. I got red when it first came out, so yeah.

I played FireRed if you haven't noticed. Everyone has Pidgey because it's the first bird Pokemon in the game. (Usually in the first route)

The first Pokemon game I actually owned was Gold, and here was what I remember of the team I had:

Meganium
Gyarados (oh yea, it was the red one)
Ho-oh
Ampharos

And I had others, I'm not too sure what they were anymore. I think one was a Hypno, but I'm not positive on that one.

my first game was yellow but i was too young to remember the team but for a while i played crystal and had
dont know movesets i still thought sp atk was extra damage or something and only know lv as stats

2. Dugtrio {dugtrio}
3. Kadabra {kadabra} (I can't trade)
4. Dodrio {dodrio}

My first Pokemon game was yellow and my gang consisted of {pikachu} (of course), {charizard}, {blastoise}, and {venusaur}. I don't remember the other two. Probably {articuno} and {mewtwo} but maybe I didn't get that far my first time around.

My first gold team was {typhlosion} {gyarados} {gyarados} {espeon} ??? and ???
My first Ruby team was {swampert} {manectric} {bellossom} {groudon} ??? and ???

My first diamond team was
{grotle} (turtwixt) {staraptor} (serpenstar) {luxio} (luxryo) {floatzel} (floatzalia) and {dialga} (draggyalga) (yeah i wanted the last slot to be toxicroak but I could never find one) :(

My first was at the blue game and the Pokemon I had where:

1. {blastoise} LvL 73.
2. {pidgeot} LvL 72
3. {magmar} LvL 70
4. {vaporeon} LvL 75.
5. {nidoking} LvL 65
6. {pikachu} LvL 66

I don't know there moves!

This is from Poke'Mon Red when I owned the Gameboy. No Pocket, no color, just that big gray 4 battery 2 hour 30 minute lasting handheld gaming console. This is the team I had when I beat the Elite 4 for the first time. I remember very clearly, because I try so hard to stay away from this.

Every-time I look back on my first Poke'Mon adventure, I cringe. I was such a...n00b. Rather, a newb, but regardless, it's horrible.
