I'll share something that I feel will make people here rethink somethings.
The rest of the pokemon that would have other types, or type it could have really give me a feeling of being something fit. Pokemon who would fit into being decribed as a certain type without really being that type makes sense. Dragons types are normally straight out dragons that don't fit another idea (Flygon a Dragon first, fly second.) Kinda fits with Psychic-ish pokemon. A type can be implied without really being there.
Oh, Plus if Charizard or Sceptile gain Dragon, that would tip the starter scale. Think about it.
I just want is ----> Bug/Electric

I consider Giratina the 'opposite side' of the mystical Dialga and Palkia, being born when the world was first created. Basically the anti-existence to all the other pokemon.

Palkia does control space, and space doesn't have anything to do with water, but that's not the point: Dialga controls time, what's time got to do with steel?
Dialga and Palkia get their second type from the jewels they represent. Diamond makes sense as a steel type, because that's what it is: A metal. Palkia's signature jewel is a pearl, and they are found in water.
.Here ends the reading/speech/rant.
Lol a Diamond isn't a Metal it's Carbon anyway if that's the case it really should be Rock type. The Rulers of anything should really be based on what type they are and vice versa. Look at Kyogre, it created water so it has to be a Water type and so on.

WTF
Salamence has wings dude.
firstly: flygon has wings too but he is dragon and ground.
secondly: lucario should not be fighting and psychic (thats what medichams are for)
because fighting and steel protects him from his flying weakness.
thirdly: Sapphirath, dialga created time and palkia created space but there is no time
or space types!!!!

I'd have to say Dialga is steel since the metal won't wear out over time.
Palkia is water since, well.... water shapes the earth with weathering and such. I'd say water has a huge influence over space.
Also, should been a type Rock not Ground. Or maybe has made a Water(or ice) type one.

Bug/Dragon (I keep thinking how they could make another evo. of Vibrava to make it part bug but it ends up looking like Flygon.)
Fire/Dragon (Not sceptile, nor feraligatr, just 'cause they're reptiles...)
Water/Dragon
Poison/Dark
Water/Psychic
Dark or Dark/Psychic
Fighting
Fighting
Water/Dragon or Dark/Dragon ( Actually I don't care much for this one. Shouldn't be flying though Akart >.>)
Grass
Ice/Steel or Dark/Ice
Electric/Steel ( I care not for it's better rival it'd make more sense.)
Bug/Dark
Rock/Fighting (It's nobbly and looks like a fighting type.)
Electric/Fighting (I'm not sure, at the same time I think... "But there isn't a Physical Electric pokemon..")
Dark/Electric ('it began acting oddly' AHEM.)
Dark/Fighting (Where's the iceness?! In it's icon it's thrusting it's fist forward and is jet black.)
Water/Psychic
Fire/Psychic
Electric/Psychic (All thoe mono-psychic types bored me D:)

Electric/Steel
Water/Psychic (as well as Golduck)
Pure flying (to compensate for his stats)
Flying/Psychic (the TV show presents it as way too psychic as does its moveset)
Dark/Poison
Steel
Water/Bug (The pre-evo was so it should stay that way, it would be a sweet type)
Electric/Bug
Ground/Bug
Dark/Ice (It looks so evil)
Fighting/Psychic

Steel/Rock --> Steel.
Rock type only hurts him and I bet that if it were pure Steel, it would BL or even OU.

i agree. maybe even steel/ground if it needs another type besides just steel.
also, i would change some typing.
i think that it stinks that most dragons have a 4X weakness to ice, i mean come on, even when they did vary from dragon/fly they made dragon/ground, still weak to ice.(yes i know that kingdra is dragon/water, but i dont consider him one of the best dragons)
but for pokes like charizard and sceptile, i agree, it would be unfair for a starter to get a dragon type once it was evolved.

Ah yes, but Flygon gets Levitate, doesn't it? This means that Flygon can lift it self off the ground and stay in the air without moving. Salamence makes better sense as flying, as he also needs Intimidate. Intimidate makes the most sense for someone like Mence, and I can't see any logic behind Salamence being Dragon/Ground anyway (save for the fact that STAB EQ would make him uber).
Personally, I believe Garchomp should be Dragon Flying. It has similar attributes to Salamence (including the scary expression bit) as well as the sane position in the Pokemon food chain (i.e. the top). You may argue that Garchomp lives in caves but mainly deserts, so it should be ground type, but what about Cacturne? Isn't that Grass Dark? How did they make it live in deserts? The simple answer is: Sand Veil. Chomp has Sand Veil, which would make up for his loss in connectivity to the desert (he also learns Sandstorm, but then hardly any Pokemon don't (yes, I know Wobbuffet doesn't, just shut up)).
