:roll: That is because the Yellow version is more based on the anime than it's predecessors. Just like in Crystal, where you meet not in the wild :roll: Pretty much all of the third games are based more on the anime... but that does not mean that the games themselves originated from the anime, 'CAUSE THEY WEREN'T

But seriously, Yellow was based off of the anime because trainers wanted to be like Ash and raise their own Pikachu as a starter. Well they got their wish. Nintendo made an anime-based video game. Most of the Gym Leaders' parties were changed (Koga has only Venonat line, Sabrina has only Abra line, Giovanni now has Persian, Blaine has Growlithe and Ponyta lines - but oddly no Magmar - and Lt Surge has only one Pokemon, a Raichu). I've seen this topic before and no, Arceus is not a copy of Ho-oh as it created nothing, it just restored some beings to their former state. Arceus created beings of time and space and created a genetic code to spawn into lots of pokemon (Mew). I like Dialga though, so I'm going to say Dialga travelled back in time and claimed he is the creator. Or maybe that did happen and Arceus accepted it's role as master of time. So Dialga actually looks like Arceus and Arceus actually looks like Dialga.

Arceus is basically the god of all Pokemon. You can't say "Who created God?" and expect a real answer, can you? And KOL40, time is not a man-made concept. The Sun and Moon measure time. We just divide them into 24-hour days, 7-day weeks, and so on. Since Arceus created Dialga and Palkia, I believe that Arceus exists outside of time and space. And Ho-Oh is a lame pretender.
